First test of the dual infinity room build!

Please excuse my crappy cameraman skills, juggling like 3 different things at once lol

Testing on very low power off a 4a variable voltage supply, RCAs run to a head unit

The background rattle is my closet door. Very happy with how this is starting to turn out!

My absolutely brilliant idea, using the sub as the bedside table

Not fully done yet, but I’ve had this box empty for a while and used it as my bedside. I’ve kicked the project off and started with 2 infinity primus 1270 subs. Kicker cxa600.1 on the way.

And I’ll also do the bar style grills for a little extra protection

Finally starting my dual 12 system for my room

Decided to step up from the 8” and 10” 20 year old onkyo subs and do a custom build.

So here I’ve got 2 infinity primus 1270 subs, 300 rms each. I’ll be using a kicker cxa600.1 amp and a 100 amp power supply (1200 watt peak). All wired down to 2 ohms in a box I have been using as a bedside table for the last few years. Matched the subs to the box, numbers line up pretty close.

I’ll have the amp and power supply on a separate board to avoid vibration damage from direct box mounting. I plan to use some kind of live edge wood slab for the amp rack. Got a recoil 4awg wiring kit and other bit and bobs here and there

Really excited to finally start this project! Going for sq over spl, this should reach the same volume as the onkyos pretty easy with much less cone movement, and thus better sound quality. Then I can turn it up and still have much more bass than I used to

The $85 system, Polk 12 sub and amp

So my little sister just got her license and wanted a little more kick.

I was able to find a Polk db1212 sub and pa400.1 amp for 50, wiring for 25 (not the best, I’m aware, but fairly low power application and proper installation) and a loc for 10 because a head unit was not in the budget, plus door speakers, cause they’re 2 ohm for some reason.

Over about 3 hours my dad and I got everything wired and tuned.

2017 Nissan Sentra

Pretty happy with how this one turned out! It seems like a perfect fit for her car, fills in the lows beautifully, sounds pretty clean, and is all under 100 bucks.

Is my hub failing? And how can I fix it?

My hub just started to feel off, and noticed the cranks seem to catch intermittently

Just got my first bmx, really excited to start learning!

It’s a kink, not sure of the model.

I got it from a local gentleman who flips bikes, I bought it off him for $30 before he could do any work though.

I’m looking forward to the journey and to cleaning this bike up some!

Center cap logo disappeared from my sparco terras. Common?

It wasn’t even the whole cap, just that logo piece. And I can’t figure out what to order cause tire rack doesn’t have pictures for the wheels thus far hardware

Came into possession of these during a shop Cleanout. They seem to have been a pair owned and well used by an R. F. Trufant at the Ordnance Research Laboratory, Pennsylvania state college during the war effort.

May not perfectly fit this sub, but I find them and their history very interesting

I machined it from steel for one of my classes

For those who know, hot rolled for the head and cold rolled for the handle
