instagram.comDoes anyone else have trouble using the canoo app to get the 50% discount voucher?
I finally decided to use the voucher but when i click on the button to reveal the code, it simply vanishes. The gray strip where the voucher code is supposed to show just disappears. I opened a ticket with the app but none has replied. Anyone else with this problem?
I can't send Solana from my helium wallet
Every time I attempt and slide the button to the right, it slides back to the left and nothing happens. Quite frustrating. Does anyone have a solution to this issue?
Housing Ridiculousness
Can we talk about what’s happening to housing in Canada?
When did it become acceptable to rent out a single bedroom with TWO beds and expect two full-time working adults to share that space like it's a dormitory?
I understand that in emergency situations, people facing homelessness may need temporary shared accommodations. That's a completely different conversation. But cramming two unrelated working adults into one bedroom just to maximize rental income is not a housing solution—it's exploitation.
People who work 40, 50, 60 hours a week deserve dignity. They deserve privacy. They deserve a place where they can come home, close a door, and have their own space without sharing a bedroom with a stranger.
This is becoming normalized because housing has become so unaffordable that people are forced to accept living conditions they never should have to accept in the first place.
We're talking about Canada, not a crowded hostel. Working people should not have to compete for half a bedroom while paying a significant portion of their income for rent.
Landlords who are turning every available square foot into another source of revenue need to ask themselves where the line is between providing housing and taking advantage of a crisis.
Enough is enough. Housing is supposed to provide stability, privacy, and dignity—not maximize profits at the expense of basic living standards.
This has got to stop.

instagram.comIs anyone planning to leave Canada?
Genuine question and it’s been discussed a lot in my circles nowadays.
Seems like affordability is on the top of young people’s mind, and no one in charge seems to be thinking of them even though “Affordability is the best it’s ever been in 10 years”
What do you guys think? Is there a future in Canada?

Leaving Canada in 2 weeks after studying/working – what should I NOT forget?
I’ll be leaving Canada in about 2 weeks after completing my Master’s and working here for a while, and I want to make sure I don’t miss anything important before I go.
I’ve already started wrapping up things like rent and bills, but I’m more concerned about the stuff people usually realize too late — things related to banking, taxes, documents, job search, or anything that made you think “I wish I had done that before leaving.”
Also, if anyone has gone through moving back to India (or another country) after studying/working here, I’d really appreciate any advice on:
What to take care of before leaving
Mistakes to avoid
Things that helped you later (career, finances, etc.)
Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks in advance!

Thinking about leaving Canada… forever!
Holà, im seriously thinking of leaving Canada for setting up a new life in Spain. I’m part Spanish. I have the Canadian and Spanish nationality but I don’t have yet a DNI. I don’t know how to get it either and my brother(BCN) told me I absolutely had to have it before i do anything. The reasons i want to leave Canada and that I think Spain will be better at for me are
- The weather
- The quality of life
- The economy is a big one
- The culture and sens of belonging
- Get near my family and discovering my roots
- Business opportunities ( this one scares me but not as much as staying in Montreal)
6.5 Q: Can i remain a Spanish citizen if I’m a citizen of another country where I pay taxes and where I set up my business? Do I have to pay taxes in both countries?
Any advices or comments on that?
Canada Didn't Just Price Millennials Out of Homes. It Priced Them Out of Adulthood.
kelownarealestate.comOttawa has no idea how many temporary migrants are still here | National Post
nationalpost.comA generation did everything they were told to do. Go to school. Get a good job. Work hard. Now even people in the trades making decent money are moving back in with their parents because home ownership is completely out of reach in Canada.
Quick Facts:
-Median Net Worth: Seniors $1.11M vs. Young Renters (Under-35s) $44k.
-Future Debt Burden: Under-35s carry $117B, while seniors carry $9B.
-Funding Priorities: Federal spending on seniors' benefits has grown 18x faster than spending on housing since 2015. About ~$30B compared to merely ~$1.6B - $3.5B.
-The "Generational Fairness" Irony: The Liberals are still cutting full OAS cheques to seniors making $93k/year, a** **threshold higher than the median family income for young Canadians.
They aren't "ending the housing crisis". They're subsidizing their most reliable voting bloc while the rest of us pay for it.
