hi! my gecko has always been the type to mostly stay in her warm hide but every now and then i’ll see her drink some water or explore around.

this past month i haven’t seen her out at all. i’ve been trying to get her used to handling this past week and she still doesn’t get out. she’ll just pop her head out.

when i feed her she’ll only come out like 6 inches away from her hide. everything is normal, temperature, humidity, feedings, etc. she’s around 6 years old. i’m super confused :(

she used to come out wayyy more when she was younger and in a smaller tank (the one she was given to me) but ever since i moved her to a 55 gallon around 3 years ago it seems like she rarely comes out? especially this last month.

hi! i'm looking to get a new tank for my gecko! the current one i have is a old fish tank so it's very tall and long with a top opening. around 1 feet and 9 inches high, 1.1 feet wide, and 4 feet in length.

the one im looking at is a front opening tank, 1.5 feet high, 1.5 feet wide and 3 feet in length. (36x18x18)

I'm wondering which one would be better? cause i know they like having long tanks and i'll be getting rid of a foot in length but switching it with a front opening tank + more in width. the current one i have is apparently 57 gallons says google? and the one im looking at is 50 gallons.

i’ve really been wanting a front opening tank for better handling and more convenience like not having to take off the lights every time i go in her tank. her tank is also pretty skinny so it’s hard to fit big sticks in there like id want to. pls let me know ur thoughts!

hi! i’m looking into having a bio active tank for my leopard gecko! i’ve been looking into isopods but i’m wondering how well they’d survive in a leopard gecko tank due to the heat and lack of humidity. i’ve only had experience with them being in a crusted geckos tank which has very high humidity compared to leopard geckos.

it's always been hard for me to make good friends because i usually distance myself because i know how possessive i get. i want to be their first everything, the first person they go to for anything. i get jealous when i hear that they have another close friend that's not me. it honestly kinda hurts my feelings knowing they have a friend that's closer than i am to them. yes im happy that they have other friends but at the same time i only want it to be us or at least me first then their other friends. im really struggling to put this in words. (and no im not interested romantically in them nor do i crave attention)

hi! so i have a 5 year old healed nostril piercing and i decided to switch to a hoop week ago ish. the hoop is a bigger gauge than my stud that i’ve had in since i got the piercing btw!

ever since i put it in ive been dealing with irritation bumps, crustys, and bleeding. i’ve now taken it out and put in my old stud but im confused on why that happened? it was a horse shoe hoop so it did move a lot. i don’t know what the material is, i think it’s a cheap “stainless steel” type of jewelry. if i buy higher quality jewelry would this issue happen again?

i just started vyvanse around 7 hours ago (30 mg). i was last on it around 3 years ago ish and i think 25 mg? and i got off because it made me lose too much weight and i didn’t notice it working. now im back on it hoping it will help me with weight loss but im getting a lot more side effects than i thought i would.

i’m also on zoloft for anxiety and ocd and i feel like vyvanse is kinda cancelling that out right now because i’ve been super hyper, talkative, anxious, and my heart rate seems a little faster (probably due to anxiety?). is this normal? i’m honestly so confused because i do not remember feeling this last time, i’m confused on why i notice it working now but not before? i’m hoping this will go away in a few days / weeks but i’ve just been worried. thoughts and opinions?
