Did I do my auxiliary battery delete properly?

My almost 2yr old 2024 Willys had what I believe the aux battery starting to fail--I kept getting an error that "Aux Switches Temporarily Unavailable" while battery charges or something like that this past week.

I pulled Fuse 42, and removed the thinner Aux negative cable--taped it completely and zip tied it back.

Jeep started just fine, and I drove it around for about an hour to top off the main battery---I've probably started the car 5x today and there's no more error.

My start/stop message keeps saying not available (which is totally fine as I don't want that anyways).

However in all the videos/walkthroughs I've seen/read, people still use their taser/ eliminator or just push the button post aux delete, to turn stop/start off as the main battery alone will still utilize the ESS. How come mine has the message that it's not available?

Gray vs AD questions

Hi all,

I'm looking to pull the trigger on a Pelagos 39mm in the next few weeks or so. This will be my BIFL/grail watch after the last few years off of and on research. Up until now my most expensive watch is $1k

I visited 2 of the 5 boutiques/ADs in my area yesterday and both indicated no discounts; I might check out the other 3 this weekend though.. Both places gave me great service, and I'd definitely buy from either or.

Jomashop has it for $4685 right now (after a $100 coupon), and I'm not hurting on funds, where the $1k~ difference vs MSRP would make or break me, but I'm always looking for deals.

In all honesty I don't really care about the "experience" of buying from an AD, or building a relationship with them.

My question is, for any of you that went gray--did you have any ill experiences w/ warranty issues or any other regrets by not going to the AD? Anything else I should be considering? Thanks

Where was your pro made?

I see mine was made in Japan but I’ve read others are made in China. Is there any quality difference?

PSA—Amazon credit card offer

I just wanted to make it aware that I opened an Amazon credit card the other day for prime day and instantly got a $200 gift card to my account bringing the price down to $699 for the pro. The card also let me do 12 months 0% for the remaining amount.

The $200 gift card was just for prime day so I believe it’s just $150 now. However I just saw if you open a business card— it’s a $250 gift card.

Hope this helps anyone wanting a pro!

Costco PSN e-gift cards

Hi all,

It says it takes 2hrs for delivery, but I'm currently approaching 20hrs with no email still with my codes.

I called customer service and the guy said it can take up to 24hrs, but he didn't seem so sure... Has this happened to anyone who recently placed an order?

Do I even need to try the 42mm?

Tried the 39mm today at my AD which seemed perfect for my 6.8in wrist.. they didn’t have a 42 though.

What part is this?

Not my pic, but I was checking my oil earlier and noticed the top of this part thru the engine cover slot had some dry oil on it.

Photography burnout

Hi all,

I've been shooting for about 21yrs now off and on as a hobbyist. Lately I haven't touched my camera in close to 9 months. I shoot mainly landscapes the last 5 years, and living in the southwest US--- I'm pretty much in some epic spots of the country a couple hours from home. I used to really love waking up at like 2am and driving in the middle of the night to catch sunrise somewhere, or doing an overnight to do astro.

I just have no desire to do that anymore and I don't really know why other than it can be a lot of work... In fact I've thought about selling my gear to pursue other hobbies or pay down other bills. I'm not necessarily looking to force myself back into it, but I guess does anyone have idea tips? Maybe in time I will get that desire again..

Same dose between BPI and Halladale - very different effects

I started tirzepatide with Hallandale at 2.5mg and lost a great deal of weight, 5.0mg I was stalled for about 5 weeks, and then 7.5mg I saw some improvement but it wasn't nowhere near like it was in the early days @ 2.5.

I am now using my BPI stock and took my first BPI shot @ 7.5mg and the nausea was pretty bad the first 2 days, and suppression is very very high.. (yes its the same concentration b/w BPI and Hallandale)

In theory, I have been on 7.5mg for 3 weeks now; 2 weeks Hallandale, 1 week BPI.

BPI is definitely hitting harder. My question is--is my body just reacting to the BPI formulation and should I remain at 7.5mg or drop down?

So I'm waiting in the service bay for dealer to open this morning shortly before 730am. There's another guy there with an older Grand Cherokee, and then another guy (maybe 40s) with some Ford crossover also waiting.

Ford guy comes up to me and is like: hey man I gotta question--whats up with the ducks??

me: oh it's just some fun thing we do in the jeep world, I honestly don't know the origin of it but we put ducks on each other's jeeps and show off our collection.

Ford guy: yeah my neighbor has a wrangler has them too...so weird.

me: *kind of fake laughing* yeah I never thought I'd be into it but once I got my first one it was kind of fun and giving them out too.

Ford guy: we had old school jeeps in the military that you could fold the windshields down even.

me: oh yeah I can do that too with mine too.

Grand Cherokee guy: I can see the hinges on yours--thats pretty cool!

Ford Guy: I gotta be real honest man--if you had those ducks in the military people would think you're really weird. *has a really condescending face at this point*, and his body language also turned to a weird stance, like he was bobbing back and forth..At this point he looks to the older GC guy expecting him to agree, but he had no reaction. I

I was just like ahhh yeah I mean..it's not for everyone I guess.....then he just started laughing at his own statement.

I pulled out my phone at this point and started looking at other shit to ignore him.
