Thoughts sa credit card pa-swipe and BNPL business? Worth the risk ba

Cashout

Now ko lang nalaman na aside sa SLoan, pwede ka rin palang makapag cash advance via Spaylater and upon checking, malaki ang interest niya with one-time processing fee.

100K Credit Limit

Can't believe na ito ang first credit offer ni Maribank to me. I am qualified din for a credit limit increase. Been a user since last year and naabutan ko pa na Seabank pa name nila. This is very useful since aside sa cashbacks, Cash Loans, may Mari Credit na ring magagamit incase of emergency. Of course, credit 'to, so dapat be financially literate or use credit card wisely.

Need advice: struggling to manage multiple loans

**Please do not repost this to any other platform.**

Hello. I honestly never thought I’d be posting something like this, but I really need outside perspective.

I (35F) am a breadwinner and have been carrying most of my family’s expenses (rent, bills, daily needs). I also have a sibling in SHS and parents who currently don’t have stable income due to health issues.

I’ve always tried to manage my finances responsibly. I started using credit cards during the pandemic and was doing okay—paying on time and only using what I could handle.

I got married last year, and my husband and I shared wedding expenses. We also used PayLater options (Shopee/TikTok) and a few loans to fill the gaps. At that time, things were still manageable.

Everything changed around April.

I got exposed to online gambling through ads. It started small, then quickly escalated. I began using money meant for bills and repayments, chasing losses, and eventually spiraled into multiple loans just to keep things afloat.

In a few months, I ended up taking loans from almost everywhere I could: Maribank, GLoan, SLoan, TikTok Cash Loan, Home Credit, and a BPI Personal Loan.

What used to be around ₱35K/month in obligations is now more than ₱70K/month. Total debt is now close to ₱800K including interest.

My income is around ₱50K/month. My husband contributes to household expenses, but even combined, it’s no longer enough to cover everything.

I feel stuck. Anxious. Ashamed. I know this is 100% my responsibility.

The hardest part: my husband doesn’t know the full situation yet. I’ve only told him about normal expenses, not the actual debt from gambling and loans. I’m scared of the impact this could have on our marriage.

I still have enough funds for maybe 2 months of payments. After that, I honestly don’t know what happens next.

I’ve already self-excluded from PAGCOR, so gambling access is gone.

Right now I’m trying to figure out if debt consolidation or any structured repayment plan is even possible in my situation.

If anyone here has been in a similar situation—or has practical, real advice on what steps to take next—I would really appreciate it. I feel like I’m running out of time and don’t know where to start fixing this.

Hello everyone!

I recently got approved for a BPI Gold Rewards Credit Card, but it’s been almost a month and I still haven’t received the physical card. I’m starting to worry a bit. possible ba na magamit siya for scams even if I haven’t activated it yet?

Also, is there a way to track or locate the card delivery? I haven’t received any calls or updates, probably because I recently updated my contact details, so wala rin akong nareceive na texts/calls from BPI.

If ever hindi ko talaga siya mareceive, can I just have it cancelled or closed?

Sorry, I’m new to this whole credit card thing 😅 Any advice would really help. Thank you!

Hi everyone, need your help lang.

I checked my Shopee account and it says I need to update my info until July 2026 to continue using SLoan and SPayLater. I already updated my SPayLater, but this is what showed up after.

"Your account is currently frozen due to internal policy. Please make sure all overdue and upcoming bills are repaid on time. Please wait while we are reviewing your account"

Just wanted to ask if anyone here has experienced the same thing? Bumalik naman ba sa dati after? Mabilis lang ba? Medyo worried lang ako baka hindi ko na magamit SPayLater and SLoan kahit active payer naman ako.

Thank you!
