I'm thinking cauliflower mushies for dinner tonight. Anyone have good recipes?

In south central PA, found on a wooded trail. I tried ID:ing both in my Petersons book but I'm unsure on both.
The yellow appear to be golden oyster but they're very pale and the aged ones look really nasty. My book doesn't even list golden oyster, maybe because it's not native.
The bolete matches Peterson's description of a bitter bolete, but the taste test was mild and nutty, not bitter at all, so I'm curious if I found an edible?
I'm specifically looking to learn recent ideas and approaches for things like:
- different drug protocols and options for hard IV sticks
- best ways to handle when we're not able to place a catheter (rare, but we feel unequipped in those situations)
- smoothest flow for clients and the best approaches for making it a good experience all around
- how to handle clients and emotions in traumatic death cases (DOA, HBC, etc, we are a GP so it doesn't happen often and again, we feel unequipped when it does)
- any other aspects of the process that I might not even be thinking about because I'm unaware.
It just feels like one of those things that our clinic has kinda of always done the same way and I don't think anyone is super motivated to make sure we're UTD and doing all the best practices we can, which makes me sad.
I've heard of CAETA but I want to make sure it's worth the money or see if there's anything else out there.
Also they were definitely my leftovers in the fridge that I kept forgetting to take home, I'm so sorry 😭
As of right now, we're considering just laying down MDF subflooring before laying the vinyl plank. Unless someone has a better suggestion? Also, how do I handle the stair nose?
The concrete has been slowly sinking in the lower left corner (left when looking at it) for longer than I've had the house. I'm finally getting the gutters replaced to solve that issue, but now I'm stuck with an awkward, uneven, cracked patio that I hate spending time on.
Would it be viable to do a wooden deck floating over this and somehow set up the support beams so it's actually level? Ideally I'd like it to extend the full length so I can use the space and not have 2 awkwardly different heights.
Or what other affordable options are there? It's been a pain trying to find concrete guys around here, and I still haven't gotten an actual quote to tear the whole damn thing out. I did have one concrete service come out (who doesn't do demo), and they strongly did not recommend lifting that corner of the porch. I don't know if it was because of the amount of slab there or the location or the way the entire house has settled with it, but all he wanted to do is throw some hydrophobic foam underneath to prevent further sinking (which I'm not sure is necessary if correct the underlying flooding issue?). They did say they could level out the lower portion at least but that will not help me want to be here.
Also, affordability.
Also also, apologies for the mess. I'm actively renovating several problem spots at the same time. Super fun.
In college, I was taught the push/press method where you keep one hand on top and one hand on the side, applying pressure from both.
It's been a decade since then so I took some local classes to freshen up. It seems like almost everyone there uses coming, and I just cannot get the hang of it. I can kinda? Cone up, but when I push down I keep getting chunks on my hand and the centering I did have fails. I'm also a lefty and my teacher is a righty.
In the latest class I tried my method instead of hers, and it felt so much easier. I guess just because I know how to do this one? But I did notice that I tend to hunch and tense up, and the constant pressure means I'm pushing all the time. If the clay is at all tough or not soft enough, I have to push hard.
So is there an ergonomic difference between the two?
While I'm here, I might as well throw in the fact that I've noticed. I tend to hunch my shoulders and tighten my entire body when I'm doing a pull. I'm not sure if this is because I'm still fresh at it again and it's stressful every time I pull, or if that's just my natural inclination and there's a way to untrain my body because it's exhausting.
10 stairs leading to the 2nd floor. But I have so much going on right now.
The wood looks gorgeous, but I keep hearing about how much work it is. Much less all the tools and supplies I'd need. But I feel so sad when I think about painting them :( would that be a sin?
I was hoping to add curtain rods to make the space feel a little more fun and less basic. On the left window, it went fine.
I went to drill into the window facing the front of the house, and the drill will not go through. You can see I tried multiple times in multiple places. It seems to be within 4 or 5 inches all around the window frame at the top n when I went halfway down the window, I was able to punch through.
I did some searching and ordered the no-drill mounts that you tap in on the top of the window frame. 1) it was so close to the ceiling that getting the hammer up there was awful, 2) the blinds are blocking the mount because the mount doesn't extend far enough out.
Short of hammering strings into the ceiling and tying them to the rod...what else can I try? Or do I scrap the whole project after having spent all the money on it?
I was at a book event today and met the author of this horror book about some animals. I haven't read it yet but I pre-ordered a copy. I mentioned to him that I'm a vet nurse, trying to communicate that his book is a mix of all my interests, but right away he said 'oh don't worry, I try to be very respectful of all that', I assume to comfort me that he avoids any graphic animal harm.
My good sir. Your intentions are sweet, but when I tell you that I'm a tech, this is not supposed to indicate that I'm some sweet, soft, doe-eyed girl who can't stand to see an animal injured. If you knew the horrors that I saw on the daily, you would have writing material for years.
I tried to not be offended, but oof. To think someone could consider our career something for the fragile disposition.
So I'm currently working through divorce paperwork and he left in October but I still haven't gotten this damn house under control 😭

- I've done 2 separate purge sessions of different rooms with friends.

- I thought I was going to be moving out, so I was ready to call it quits on this place. But the market is a disaster right now and every offer I've put in has been immediately rejected. So now I'm going to do some improvements on this house, but it seems like that last rejection put me in a funk and I've just completely lost motivation.

- I am hyper aware of the fact that it stinks of dog/cat piss because the litter needs changed and the dog isn't fully house trained yet. I am going to replace the carpets but it'll be another week or so, so I feel like I need to just power through till then. I can't seem to get myself to do the litter though

- I work four tens and I found that nothing gets done on my weekdays because I come home and crash. So my weekends are the only time to be productive. This weekend I had a few events to go to, which is all it took.

- when I am finally ready to start, I know that I need to prioritize the laundry and the dishes because those will only continue to get worse. So I get those done, and then that's it. I've used my spoons, nothing else is going to happen for the weekend. It's been like this and steadily getting worse over the past 2 or 3 weekends.

- body doubling is really helpful for me in these times, but I am now divorced. I've had friends over to help with the purges, but I really wanted to be an adult and be able to clean my own damn house without needing my hand held. Anyway, I think I need more purges because somehow I still have too much damn stuff.

- please don't suggest a cleaning service. Single income now and I got the house, remember? I can barely afford to feed myself. Picking up a second job this week.

- bonus picture of the Doom pile that ended up in my laundry basket which is why the laundry is in two separate piles on two separate floors of my house. Ft. My passport, shoes that I bought a size too small and need to get donated, cookies, nail glue, yarn, etc.

I've been rooting him to give to a friend, but now that I look, it seems like he has a dead end. I don't think philos grow from upper nodes, do they?

To fulfill the sub requirements: it's been sitting under a grow light for its whole life and it's been rooting so it's been in water with a pothos node.
I may have crashed out this evening after my offer on a new house was rejected.
I've lived in this 1920s house for 7 years with my spouse, and we split in December. Now it's filled with shitty memories *and* shitty carpet compliments of my old rescue pup who was apparently not well house trained.
I poked around some of my flooring and found that the bedrooms are an awful green linoleum, living room is some weird gross linoleum planks or something, but the stairs are actual wood.
So of course I got naively excited and assumed because they were wood, they will be good wood. Also didn't consider that the flippers were throwing staples in at every 2 damn centimeters and the boards are splintering as I pull them up.
Soo...rug for now? I guess? Unless anyone has a better suggestion? Just until I actually do the living room project which now requires the first step and landing to be included, I'm guessing. I'm assuming this wood is not salvageable.
Putting this under question because the original post was a question and you all helped answer it!
I moved the freezer into the dining room with a tablecloth on it. A little cozy in there but I'd rather have this space! I got an outdoor garden potting table on Amazon thats waterproof and easy to wipe down, it has a removable sink as well, and I'm planning to place a magnetized cover across the front of it so the litterbox is enclosed. Not perfect but I'm starting to get the vision!
I finally graduated from my online program and my poor Whisper has been in "storage" for the better part of 5 years. I'm so desperate to get my hands on it again.
Earlier this year I thought I would be moving and could find a space with room for a little studio, but with the shit market the way it is right now, I think I'm gonna have to hunker down.
I know it's far from ideal. I'm not anticipating the creation of anything keep-worthy for a while, I am very rusty so I mostly just want to return to the basics. But every other room in my house that isn't the dining room is carpeted and upstairs.
I could maybe keep stuff drying on top of the chest freezer on a shelf that I can move between the freezer and the dryer as I need to get into each of them? I don't even know where to put a discard bucket other than on the porch which is right outside of this room.
