i struggle with feeling loved. i love other people, and logically i know that there are people who love me such as my mom or my friends. but even when they show the ways they love me, i don’t really feel it, almost as if that feeling wasn’t fully downloaded or computed in me. i know the difference because i strongly recognize/am uncomfortable around unsafe people. but love from people who love me still feels neutral or quiet. i wondered if anyone has felt similarly or if this is just a childhood attachment wound thing.

hello, i’m american and finalizing documents before my visa appointment at TLS in san francisco.

for american au pairs going to france, did you need the original contract with physical signatures from your host family + yourself? like did they have to mail it to you?

or is it accepted if you have a scanned version of their signature? thank you!

also, does it still need to be approved by DREETS or is that outdated info?

looking for advice if i was the one who did something wrong. HF asked to schedule a call with me, i gave them my phone number, but when the scheduled time came nobody called me (and my phone number message had not been read). i waited 30 minutes to message them again “hi! would rescheduling to a different time or day work better for you?”
they read my phone number message + reschedule message the next day and still haven’t replied 2 days later. in the 2 days, they have only logged in once and that was a few hours ago now.

trying to not overthink it because i know parents are busy, but i just don’t know if i did something wrong? i don’t have their phone number so i couldn’t have called them…

as a non-EU (american) au pair, i’m seeing conflicting information about language classes requirements. some websites say 10 hours a week are required, and some say there’s no specific amount. anybody know?? thank you!

my doctor prescribed me a multivitamin and we even started “smaller” by making it a teens version. however the b12 is still insanely high (100mcg, 4,167% dv). i only took it for 3 days and have suffered a flare up of itchy skin and pustules.

does anyone have recs for multivitamins that haven’t flared your type 2 rosacea, or multivitamins in general that don’t have crazy high percentages?

i’m american, moving to HF in spain. i am confused about the requirements for the signatures for the spain au pair contract. i tried calling but it’s an outsourced customer service rep.
are digital signatures okay or do me & my host family both have to physically sign the contract / mail it back and forth?
