It’s harder than ever out here for anyone trying to creatively do their own thing.

I get bombarded with videos on “buy my pdf and I’ll help you do this and that and make your small business thrive”. It seems like the only ones making money are people selling “courses” or offering “workbooks.” Late stage capitalism is so disheartening.

What’s your monthly average profit for your mail club?

Honest opinions on whether or not starting a mail club is something an artist can make money from?

I hate that as artists we have to come up with new ways all the times to make ends meet, but this is one that I would like to get into if it’s worth it!

Any of you brewers getting tip share?

So I’ve been brewing for 10 years but haven’t gotten a raise in 3 years. I basically have to quit to find a higher paying job or strike some sort of deal for other compensation. I was reading a bit and some brewers actually get a share of tips from the bartenders. Do any of you have experience with that? If so, how did you go about asking? And what is a fair industry percentage to ask for?

Thanks!

Has anyone actually SEEN a good vibe coded app?

I’ve only ever seen people talking about making an app. But never the apps themselves lol.

When is the best time to trade in consoles?

I want to trade in my 2 Nintendo Switches for a Switch 2. The trade in value seems pretty low right now. $88 is laughable imo. Should I wait for an event or would I be better off selling on fb market place?

Should I be putting work into my monetized 10k insta and fb page?

I get a couple bucks from each on views alone, but what could I realistically make if I really tried and posted more frequently to both of them? Fb has 10k followers and insta has 6k followers. Both monetized.

I can’t seem to find a view/payout calculator.

Is it worth it to try to spray paint these with a stainless steel coating instead of buying new ones?

Just looked up new ones and they’re kind of expensive for what they are. I need 36 of them… cheapest on eBay would run me like $70. Wondering if I could just spray paint these with stainless steel spray paint and they’d be okay. Some of them seem a little deteriorated on the bottoms but otherwise okay structurally.

Should I just remove all the paint from this and start fresh?

I took a wire brush to remove loose paint and a good bit flaked off revealing more rust. Which tells me the paint isn’t really adhered anymore. Should I just remove it all and use a rust inhibitor to start fresh before repainting? I was gonna just scuff the paint and prime it but now I’m not sure. What would you guys do? It’s an old vending machine

Looking for 5/8 tubular locks with 35 mm cam lock plates

I can find 5/8 locks but all the cam plates that turn are too long for my machine. I measured the old one that was on it and it’s like 35 mm or 1 3/8 inch. Any one have any leads?

Account banned immediately. But old original one still works. Maybe it’s not an IP ban?

I don’t think it’s an IP ban or they would have banned my original account. But I made a new one just for using Facebook marketplace that I didn’t want to mix up with my personal one and they banned it immediately. My original account is still in good standing, so I think that puts the IP ban rumor out the window right? I used a random throwaway email.

Got a few flat vends off marketplace and they need some tlc. What’s the best way to deep clean the coin mechs? I was thinking mineral spirits and simple green with a toothbrush and magic eraser.

Anything I should definitely NOT use?

Just bought three flat vending machines with no keys. Should I just drill the tube locks out and replace them? Seems like a pain to drag them into the locksmith and try to get a key made for them.

I can’t find anything about it online and it’s not on any ESD coin mech blueprint. It was on all 4 mechs in this machine when I got it. Flat vending.

The machine won’t work with it in.
