I don't use rideshare much so maybe this is more normal than I know of. We had about a 25 minute drive from the airport to a hotel last night. The ride was silent until about 2 minutes before we arrived. The driver then asked me out of the blue, "how much did this ride cost you?" and I told him it was 35.00. He then opened his app and showed me he was only getting paid 16.00. He then started griping about how lyft rips it's drivers off and is a horrible company. I wanted to respond with, "you need to preach to them, not me". Being pissed off I said well, 16.00 for a 25 minute drive is almost 40.00 per hour which is a great pay rate. I know there is more to it than that, he has gas etc. but the fact he is complaining to me about the fact he works for a horrible company and was tying to guilt me into a bigger tip was frustrating.

I just got an email that a new unit was coming out, the MLM2XPro. I haven't seen a thing about it, I don't plan on getting it but curious what features they are adding/changing as well as the cost. The email basically said that since I have a lifetime membership I can transfer the membership to the new model.

I have been fighting TOH for a couple years and have bunch of if wiped out. I noticed these along a woodline today. I don't think it is TOH but wanted to make sure. I have another tree in my yard near the TOH grove that has been ID'd as a dogwood and it is spreading out big but there are branches growing along the ground.

Would like to confirm the ID on these.... I am in Indiana

I have a grove of trees in my backyard that I really didn't know anything about. it is about a 10 foot circle and the tallest trees are about 15 foot or so. I pay a lot of attention to my grass, I treat it multiple times a year and have a grasp on it. The reason I bring that up is I have never seen any suckers from the TOH pop up in the yard. Last fall I learned these were all TOH so I researched and I sprayed the base of the trees with Triclopyr and oil. It seems to have worked as none of the trees in that circle produced any leaves this year. Just to be sure I am going to spray them 1 more time this fall then cut them down later winter or early next spring. This summer I have a lot of suckers popping up within 10-40 feet of the circle of trees. I am planning to spray them this fall. I am just confused that the circle of trees had not produced any suckers until I sprayed them last fall. I did not hack and squirt so none of them were damaged from that process.

Ill try to keep it short. I started an iron fitting last week at the local pro I started taking lessons from, multiple brands models, etc. and day one the clubs I hit best without knowing what I was hitting were both Pings. One was a G440 and the other suprisingly enough were G425's the fitter had. I told him I wanted to stay around 1,000K max so he put those in there. I am a mid to high handicapper, typically shotting between 95 and 100 but am now taking some lessons and getting better. After the first hour of hitting balls he had me bring both clubs home to hit in my sim for a week or so. After hitting a bunch of balls all week the data showed that I hit both clubs about the same. The 440's had a couple hundred more RPM's on average but the overall carry and distance would float back and forthbetween the two and were always withina couple yards of each other each session.

Here is where my question comes in. I went back today to try to work on a toe strike issue I am having before we finish the fitting, pick a club, and set the angles etc. After I was done hitting we started talking prices. He said due to my club speed I should be in an extra stiff shaft. If I end up ordering new G 440's ball park I was going to be 11-$1200 range. He has a set of use G440's that a guy played one round with. A couple of the clubs have not been hit yet. He said he would sell me those for 799.00. The G 425 7 iron I was hitting was also from a used set that were almost new. A few more rounds than the 440's but no visible damage at all and looked basically brand new. He told me he would sell me those for 650.00. He said the lie/loft etc. can still be adjusted for my specs, basically everything he could get with a new custom ordred set except for the X stiff shafts. Both used sets have stiff shafts. He said since I have been playing stiff forever, and I am 50 years old, the stiffs shold be fine as my club head speed will be slowing over the next several years most likely. Since I was hitting the 425's and the 440's about the same, my gut tells me to get the 425's and I then have a decent amount of money left to get my driver and fairway woods/hybrids. I am getting all new except for a putter. When I go back I am going to hit a 440 with a extra stiff just to see, but I can't imagine I will notice a difference that would warrant hundreds of dollars overall. My next question is if I go with one of the used sets is there enough difference between the 440's and the 425's to warrant 150.00 extra. This guy wheels and deels so I might be able to talk him down a little more on the 440's. Would love your guys thoughts...

We have our first ever cruise coming up next week on the Magic. When we bookd, and somwhere on our paperwork it says we have a 300.00 "On Board Credits" per room. I remember when we booked the agent we used telling us we had the credits. Is there a list somewhere on what these can be used for? We were planning on getting one of the drink packages for my wife as well as the 4 device wifi. I didn't know if I could use the credits for those things or not? Or what we could use them for. Lastly, can we pre oder stuff like the drink packages now and pay for them with these credits or not?

First time cruisers, we are leaving from Miami and have a 12:40 flight out of FFL. Some friends that crusie a lot recommended the shuttle/excursion from Carnival. When I went to purchase it I noticed it has bad reviews and most everyone says to use Uber or something else. Curious what your experience has been, concerning getting from Miami to FFL once we get back. Go through the carnival shuttle or use taxi/lyft/uber?

Not sure if the terminology is correct.... I have a grove of about 10 or so TOH trees I hand not identified until last fall. The tallest is about 12 feet or so and is about 4-6 inches around at the trunk. I had never noticed any suckers popping up, however last fall once I identified the trees I applied triclopyr and had really good success, almsot all that I sprayed appear to have died. This year I am getting a lot of suckers. I have recently sprayed them with Triclopyr as well. (they are only a couple inches tall) I am wandering if these are suckers that were sent out by the original trees I spray last fall or from seeds, or will I ever know? Last fall some of the tree were tall enough they had seeds showing on them.

I have a house with a septic tank. It has a pump that pushses everything out into the leach field (I think that is what it is called?). My question is this, I first moved here in 2012 and the pump went out sometime around 2020. Didn't think much of it, but paid to have it replaced. That one lasted until a couple years ago and since then I have had 2 pumps go bad. Today my septic alarm went off which I assume means the pump is bad again, the last two pumps have been less than a year old when they quit and this one is about a year give or take. They have been replaced under warranty but I still wander if there is something that could be causing this. Each time the guy takes them to his shop to test them and make sure it's not a float or alarm issue. We do not flush anything other that TP down the toilets...

During the most recent firmware update I was going through the process of getting a new unit under warranty. With my original one the recommended graphics setting was always on the highest, on my iPad and iPhone. With the new MLM2Pro when I first started it up and it analyzed my phone it recommneds a lower graphics setting and when I select the highest one, it says it will not operate correctly (or whatever the stock warning is). Anyone else notice this?

I was trying to figure out some data on an unrelated question I had on my LM and someone asked if I hit this shot off a T due to the AOA. I have no idea how accurate those numbers typically are on the AOA but this was showing +8...

So to speak I am fairly new to sims and reading data. Backstory I bought an MLM 2 Pro last year and it was fine until this January. Before January I would run my elevation up to about 9K feet and it would get my distances pretty accurate, as they were short at my actual elevation. In January no mattter what I set my elevation at it would always show at around 3-400, and distances were short. The just replaced my unit under warranty and I was doing a test today. I hit a bunch of shots at 5000k feet elevation and then some at 10K feet. Overall the average distance was about the same. I was not supper consistent but I found two shots that went the same distance. Looking at the numbers of both shots, should one have gone further than the other given the fact the elevation was 5K feet different, or did some of the other factors in the ball data cause the balls to be the same distance despite the elevation. Would love to see what you guys make of this data, knowing the elevation distance.

I assume this is not currently an option, but I assume it should be able to do it. My favorite featuer of the MLM2 Pro is the videos. I wish it would record videos when using GS Pro as well. I use that range and also do the 60 shot challenge a lot and it would be nice when I shank a few balls during that session that I could go back and see the video(s) of the swing and impact.... Seems like it wouldn't take much for Rapsodo to catch the videos of every shot you hit, not just when you are using the Rapsodo app.

I have been working on clearing out a patch of Tree of Heaven since last fall. I have another tree that is not TOH nearby but there is some TOH sprouting up around it. The limbs of this tree have always been close to the ground (if that helps) no matter how tall the tree gets the lowest branches are touching the ground. Here are some pics....

Realized late last summer I had a TOH issue on my property. I sprayed a lot of them last fall with Triclopyr and I think that worked. All the ones I sprayed have not produced any leaves this year. I am going to spray them again this fall just to make sure and cut them down either over the winter or next spring. I have found several in the area along the fence row that are 5-18 inches tall. Would spraying them right now with Round up be a good idea or is the Triclopyr in the fall the best option. I know I am in for a battle the next couple years but trying to keep it from getting any worse.

I had to move my sand filter and pump around a little bit and the way my deck is built it makes it hard to reach the on off switch on the pump. I was going to have a switch put in on my deck near the sand filter but thought about one of these remote control outlets. My deck is over my pump/filter and I have a hatch I can step down into. It would be nice to just hit a switch or the remote to turn it on and off during backwash etc. Anyone have one or have any thoughts?

For those not from Indiana, you may not know that historically if the track is not sold out the race is blacked out on local TV stations and can only be viewed locally that night once the race is over. I was told this has gone on historically back in the day to get more people to go to the race live. Do people really think in this day and age someone would want to watch the race and since it is not on TV they would drive to the track to watch it? I am not sure if they study this type of thing or not but surely there is no way the number of people who go to the track based on the race not being on TV is very small. What are your thoughts on this? Wouldn't it be a better PR move to just say we are going to air the race locally no matter what?

When my pool was installed in 2018 they used one of the plastic base the sand filter sits on. The last couple years it started to warp and sag causing the filter to lean. After install my deck was built around the pool and over the sand filter and there is a hatch from above I can lift out to get to the controll head, I can also access it from the sides. Though about pouring a small concrete slab to replace the plastic base. I don't like the idea of messing with concrete under a deck just haveing to be hunched over under there. I have never messed with concrete but assume for something like this I could just dig out a few inches, build the rectangular form. Also thought about just screwing some treated 4x4's together or something similar and setting it on that. Anyone have any DIY hacks or suggesions?
