As I understand it the S&W Governor and the Taurus Judge avoid legal classification as a Short Barreled Shotgun because their barrels are rifled.

Could Mossberg (or whomever) simply make a 6" barrel 2+1 590 with a rifled barrel and sell it as a handgun?

When you come up to a road crossing on a rail trail there is a big post right at the intersection with a push button to activate the flashing yellow warning beacons which indicate to drivers someone is crossing and you need to yield.

Do just ride or walk out into the road without using the warning beacons.

My MkVII .44 magnum is great, with one exception the front sight is too high, it puts rounds about 7" low at 7 yards.

I'm fairly sure the individual who owned it prior to me is responsible for this. It came with the original sights in the box.

I purchased some Trijicon night sights for it.

However damned if the current sights will budge.

I called Magnum Research and they said to be sure to follow:
Sights out left to right
Sights in right to left

Using a brass punch and hammer with no luck, the sights don't budge, and I don't want to damage anything.

Does anyone make a sight mover for these guns?

I received an email from Amazon today, yes actually from them, saying my order of Nike Men's Court Vision... Order #xxx-xxx-xxx.... Has earned me a promotional credit. Correct item with correct order number.

This is an actual order I placed as a gift for someone a month ago. I didn't know there was any promotional credit associated with it.

There is even a message in my Amazon messages that is a duplicate of the email.

The link that says "Additional information on this offer came be found here.". While quite a long link simply leads to the Amazon home page.

The email doesn't say what the promotional credit is.

I've been to Accounts>Payments, nothing there.

Where can I find how much this promotional credit is? I'm guessing it's only a dollar or two.

Is there a MA law that requires an annual or twice annual inspection in the unit of heat detectors in apartment buildings?

This is the third apartment I've lived in in MA since 97 and every year they come into my unit to inspect the heat detectors. Building management says it is state law, but I have not found a law mandating heat detector inspections.

In my other two apartments, as well as a couple of friends who I have spoken with, confirming they have heat detectors in their apartments, there have never been any in unit inspections.

This is the most recent tracking on my package from Canada to the US.

At 12:43 am it was going to the UPS store I selected as all of my UPS packages do.

Then at 1:06am they say it can't be delivered to the UPS store. The store is open today and has no issues.

Tracking says Attention Needed and the only options I'm given to change the delivery will cost me money.

After an hour over the course of two different calls, I had to call back to the international group, the package is being rerouted to a different UPS access point now.

This is not the first time UPS has said it was "impossible" to deliver to the UPS store I have selected.

What do I need to do to prevent this issue in the future?

I ordered a birthday gift from Japan that should have shipped last week. This morning I requested it be cancelled since it will not arrive in time now.

Seller response was, it had already shipped before I asked to cancel it, so they couldn't cancel it.

Conveniently they said when it shipped. Which was after I made the cancellation request. I pointed this out and requested a tracking number.

They responded saying the item has been packaged and is awaiting shipment. So again I asked them to cancel it.

Is there a way to stop them shipping it or am I going to have to return it?
