Ok, I know this is nuts. What if you could log into Bandcamp for streaming, AND if you like the tracks you find you could purchase them directly through your controller?
This way you could buy WAV files for offline DJing, have backups, and support the artists through Bandcamp.
Seems to me that this would be a formidable union.
Lightning Strikes with Raw Burst Mode on R6mkii giving me a headache.
So l got lucky and captured some rare Oregon lightning. Was trying to figure out the in-camera solution (found it today), for interval shooting, and rediscovered "Raw Burst" mode. This worked because I was able to half-press the shutter button and then full press, capturing the lightning on the preroll. This resulted in a dozen or so usable shots per capture, buuuut getting them all out of those files is tedious.
Note: l've abandoned Adobe for CaptureOne (v21 for Mac). Even though it SEEMS like DPP can export a group of raw files, CaptureOne doesn't seem to want to recognize them.
I had to export them as TIFF.
Any tricks or tips?
I was soooo interested in this project before it was abandoned. Any people out there still using the Betas?
I think the single most important line in the film happens at about 10 minutes in:
“Because I want to fit in.”
This says a lot about Bateman, but also is core to the commentary of the film. “Trying to be normal” is part of the insanity.
Are there other / more important statements? I’ve gotta return some videotapes? 😂

I was just rewatching “The Big Lebowski” tonight and noticed a detail that I had missed before. Probably because I’m finally watching it on a bigger projection screen again.
In the scene where The Dude (Jeff Bridges) and Walter (John Goodman) are spreading Donny‘s (Steve Buscemi) ashes at the coast, you can clearly see that Goodman is already covered in powder residue (ashes) from previous takes.
Not really a flub or mistake as it probably would’ve been very difficult to clean him off between takes while they were out on location. I just found it interesting as a little telltale sign of the challenges during production. I wonder what the prop powder was? I’m guessing corn starch.
I also caught a few more details, like looking up the “Port Huron Statement”.
This wasn’t my favorite Cohen brothers movie, but it’s grown on me over the years and has interesting commentary if you read between the lines.
Since DRP tastes different to me in that last couple of years, can anyone recommend an alternative that tastes better?
I seem to remember that durning the “Big Briar” years in the 90’s (When Bob Moog no longer owned the rights to the Moog product name), there was a company using that name to sell DIGITAL Minimoogs that looked like the original. I was just learning at the time, but somebody pointed this out to me and advised me to find a real original.
Does anyone have any information or experience with this? Now that it’s been 30 years, these might be in circulation and I wouldn’t know how to identify one from the case.

When I finally needed my CyberPower LX1500GU it was dead without warning. Here you can see it reporting “Full Battery Capacity” as it did before and continues to do after REMOVING THE BATTERIES!!!

I found these in a bag (last one) of “Sweetish” cola mix at Home Goods, and it’s the best cola flavor candy I’ve ever tasted. Does anyone know the brand or where I can find more? (I don’t want to buy the mix from Sweetish, just these)
