Seriously, tankpool is completely overshadowed by the hood ( let’s make it clear, am not complaining about the hood, he is balanced ) in every way imaginable, health ? The hood , damage ? The hood, sustainability? The hood , escape option and shield ? The hood ?
His enhance team up with hela is non existent as basically impossible to upgrade both sword and guns twice because it will take for fucking EVER, far longer than most matches can extend to reach that point.

Captain America is has nothing going for him, tickle damage, low survivability, weak shield health that takes an entire day to regenerate and like all tanks and ultimate that takes decades to build up, and it’s saying something that he has no presence at all in ignite tournaments ever since season 9. He cannot annoy anything, let alone secure a kill has his team up do not address his issues at all

Devil D… he is just temu thing , a giant head shot magnet with only 1 mobility move and a small shield on BIG cool down, how on earth is THING so much AOE damage with torch teamup while also being more tankier , mobile than devil dinosaur????

Seriously anybody find it broken how Bucky can spam à CC every 3 seconds on top of auto reload + overshield?

Why does a character with a gun have such BS loaded kit for croud control that fills up full in essentially 5 landed shots ? The worst victims of this are of course freaking tanks that are constantly slowed down by his stupid orb attacks, he basically makes diving impossible and forces you into pure poke combat ( that he is still decent at doing anyway ).

Venom catches major balance nerfs in the wrong area ( his swing instead of phoenix team up ) meanwhile this menace for society doesn’t get any of his fucking kits touched at all ! Seriously WTF, I feel the same with Elsa wity Dino team-up but thats a different story.

If the enemy team has either tankpool ( most likely hela teamup gun upgrade ) or red hood as one of the 2 enemy tanks then you are going to have a miserable time fighting them as they have get out of jail options headshotting you to oblivion , but you know what tank brawler doesn’t give a dam about them too much? Thing… no really they can’t beat him at all as he has the tools to stay in their face and constantly out damage them untop of having multiple engage and disengage movements unlike devil Dino who only has his lung kidnap attack to get away and it has a long ass cool down. Mag and peni also suffocate Dino counter wise too

There is just sooo many things you have to worry about as Dino that thing can get away with that makes no sense

Even against healers he isn’t too good, if you see the enemy healers have either mantis or Adam then you most likely mean you have to swap ASAP as they will easily heal far you via headshot.

No wonder he has low pick rate , don’t get me started with

What does devil Dino eveb do better than thing besides being cute ? No really

Tank buster? No
Anti-diver? No
Anti-flyer ? No
Brawler ? No
Survival? No

WTF

- Venom for example has amazing teamup that gives him all he needs regarding survivability and damage ( blade and Jean ), they are so damm good that the enhance version enhance is dive tank survivability even more, no need on being depend on another player needing to press a button for you

- Magneto with scarlet witch teamup fix magneto biggest issue which was consistent damage burst and infinite reach while being on really short , meanwhile his teamup with Emma is straight up garbage unless you get the enhance version

- Rogue was nerfed super hard presumably to accommodate with gambit teamup and as a consequence she just sort of explode the moment she try to engage fights, she really really wants the enhance version of gambit teamup and even then it’s not enough to remediate her low hp and damage outside of it. Her teamup with magneto should be an actual shield not just huge damage reduction, it would not be the end of the world if she had one . Or at least give her cc immunity and the damage stored on southern brawl permanent instead of decaying quickly

- Devil dinosaur teamup with Jeff is literally and figuratively à nothing burger teamup, in my opinion it should be buffed so that the base version has INFINITE heat gauge, to justify the healing mechanic. Not only is the healing weak but realistically you can’t really afford to heal your team ( most likely the tank brawling ) as heat gauge is resource management and the only range attack devil dinosaur has.

- Thor enhance version of his teamup… are worthless to be honest, he gets a bit of shield for hela… it’s a bit if healing. Thor does not want to be in a dying posit in the first place and poke meta is extremely hostile to him , so you don’t really want to play him in most situations in the first place

- Tankpool ( this holds true for all version ) teamup with hela takes freaking FOREVER to upgrade, you start out weak as fuck to slowly upgrade and get stronger meanwhile everyone and their MOTHER is already strong by default

- With captain America… it’s not even his teamup that is bad, it’s his base kit and low damage that holds him back hard

- Peni is Thanos on a lot of defensive maps and I will constantly ban her only my dps assure me they can flank nest lol

What are your takes regarding vanguards current gameplay and their teamup this season?

Am a console player and I don’t know if it’s a controversial take or not but people ( especially dps ) have an extremely hard time understanding that dino weakness is… headshots, you have punisher , Jean, hela, namor ( kinda ), starlord, dpspool

Seriously even off healers like Adam and mantis LOVE going against fini because hitting his massive head refund their resource like crazy since Adam and mantis are rewarded on headshot on top of dealing huge damage on him

You dont need your entire team to be projectile based just 2 or 3 characters is enough, something like

dino + strange + punisher+ Adam + silver fox + rocket

Or dino + Emma + jean + 1 diver + mantis + rocket can also work against another enemy team with dino but in this team comp if mantis isn’t constanly pumping crazy damage with a few headshot while constanly healing & damage buffing it doesn’t work

Keep in mind that having dino on your team also enable aggressive offensive triple support play style with Adam or mantis cluster shot burst heal on top of being very good at massacring ground base diver like Daredevil and Magik when he peel for his team

For vanguard tankpool can ship him with headshot, Emma can fight him at mid distance and she has diamond form to defend herself if he try to lunge at him

If the dps on your team refuse to play ranged characters and both chose to play dive and ignore dino then your front line tanks are kinda cooked, because you mostly fight dino with ranged burst damage.

I really like dino design, his strength and weakness are not hard to grasp at all, he has many answers that are popular but for some reason a lot of people act like he is god and refuse to built team comp that enable or counters him

( this post made me realize that only 2 tank in this game can deal headshot crit dammage Lmo, it’s peni and tankpool )
