DOOM (2005) - Underrated or Overrated

This film is real good. Actual sets with extras, some CGI but lots of practical effects. Good story, actors and pacing. Probably The Rock's best movie.

Careful Who You Listen To

Experts who can't break par ruined a record setting swing.

Covey Leader Calling Raven

Excellent monologue which sets the tone for the second act. This is the exact moment the audience gets a chance to breathe; to feel the full weight of the film.

Blade 4: Daywheeler

Spawned from this thread: Do you think it's too late for another Snipes Blade movie? : r/blade

CHALLENGE: We write Daywheeler one page at a time. Any user can add.

INT. Church - Day

Centered in an empty Church, Blade, 60, grizzled and shattered from a lifetime of war, sits broken in a rusty wooden wheelchair. Laying at his side a large white wooly dog named Scar. Blade whispers with his eyes closed while gently running his finger across a Braille bible. Above him a large stained-glass window of the Virgin Mary. (commission artist - Virgin Mary with fangs)

WIDE BLADE PRAYING

BLADE: (whispers) May the holy ghost protect ye in thine hour of need... a serpent's head and serpents tail await thee. The ancient calls, by bloody night... a worthy heir, will walk upright.

Scar raises his head toward the front door, letting out a soft growl. Blade slowly opens his eyes while closing the book.

CLOSEUP BLADE

BLADE: Time to go?

Scar fully stands keeping his head locked on the Church doors. Blade tilts his head slightly as he also hears something. He stuffs the bible into the right side of his wheelchair next to a mercury-bladed sword hilt.

BLADE: After you.

Scar moves towards the exit as Blade spins a 180 in his wheelchair before pumping alongside.

LL: "Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

1969 Mobile, Alabama, an African-American high school wrestler is given the opportunity of a lifetime after a near fatal mistake. Upon successful integration into his new surroundings, the love of his life(antagonist) inadvertently causes him to stumble.

Betrayed and broken, our protagonist heads East to become one with nature, discovering the true meaning of space and time.

After returning to America, he's alone on the streets, invisible to all. A good deed sets him down a path of redemption and reunification with our siren Diana. He soon realizes he's been under her spell, ultimately breaking free.

I call this "Die Hard with spice". It's a tight R-rated summer action movie, not indie. This is my first feature that I wrote last year; 1 draft, 6 days, 2 festivals. It's a banger.

Looking for producer/agent/manager who wants to follow me to the top. Movie poster and other information on my page/insta. Serious DM's only.
