connorpillar (this isnt random, read the description)

backstory: when i was younger in grade 4 i found a little inchworm walking on the sidewalk, since i didnt want him to get squished so i went to a tree which had dirt around it. i dug up the dirt with sticks to make a hole, i put sticks overtop it, leaves and then finally dirt leaving a little breath hole at the top they he used to get in and out. when i came out the other day to play at recess, i saw that the house i made was destroyed, so i dug around the tree and i found connor! so i rebuilt the entire thing but the next day i keep jept my head out of the window watching what happened to it and i was a kindergartener kicking it down each time, so the next day i took connor in my waterbottle and took him home so i can care for him there.

i need help

ive been coming up with a story a kid who is bullied at a young age so hes never made any meaningful connection so he bonds with rats and mice in his garden that give him the feeling of friendship, but i just recently that my plot heavily resembles the story titled ratmans notebook so i really need help creating a plot simular to my original plot that includes rats and mice but still being unique
