So I guess a little background my be required, I'm a college drop out with no formal qualifications but I have a huge passion for writing and story telling. Earlier this year after completing two drafts of my novel I got my manuscript printed to a professional standard and now it it's nicely on my self, waiting for the Mrs to find the time to read.

I have little to no expecting of getting published or any interest in self publishing. My question is am I the only one?

The moment a hobby starts becoming a job, I loose all passion and interest and I wouldn't definitely would not be a charismatic forward facing author that radiats any sense cool, I've tried.

Part of me is like, well all the Ai slop out there a book by a bad author is better than one written by a computer but I really don't know if it is something I should pursue.

Pic of my book and over I designed myself, I can't draw but by using stock images I was able to make something that I enjoy looking at.

This is my accomplishment, however small and however unseen...

After a couple of months of deliberation decided to try my hand at making my first battle jacket, first custom patch is now secure... just about. First time sewing, very rough around the edged but sitting fairly straight when worn. Quite chuffed, time for a victory cup of tea.

Dreading doing the back patch. Any tips welcome.

It taken longer than I'd like to admit to get this far but my Neocities website is slowly coming along. I started off by wanting to have a MySpace feel to it and it's kinda gone from there into its own thing. There is still more that I want to incorporate into the site but I'm slow and have no idea what I'm doing 98% of the time but if you have a Neocities, let me know, I'd like to check out your site too.

Almost ready for tomorrows trailer to be dropped, there will be plenty of more free zines added in the future, not all with trailers (that would be crazy, right? Right?)

It's been fun putting all these together and now with solid template for how I want future pages to look updating the site its going to be a piece of cake.

I'm still looking for some neocities zine sites to add to a friend side bar to help build more a community and I think with zines beings so personal, neocities is the perfect platform to house that community with quirky websites, its amazing to see what people can build. I'll drop the video trailer for the zine tomorrow after which I'll probably be radio silent for a couple of weeks.

Still time to grab my first free zine, my second zine will be released in a couple of days.

Probably spent more hours than I should creating a trailer for the next zine that I will be releasing for free in July or at the earliest the end of June.

I am thinking about publishing a little youtube video for my hobby channel but today I was down the allotment and even though the nettles are chest high, bind weed is creeping in it was a good damp morning to applicate how far the garden has come this year.

The garden is never going to be a show garden but it's functioning as it should be.

Finally got my hands on this album again for a fair price. I regret selling it off years ago but now it's back in my hands and peak Iced Earth content.

After seeing them live during their dystopia album i came away from that gig disapointed but everything prior to the Glorious Burden will always be gold for me
