I'll be joining Pondicherry University as a hosteller soon, and I have a few doubts about buying hostel essentials. Since I'm coming from outside, I don't want to carry bulky items like a bed, mattress, pillow, bedsheets, bucket, mug, and other basic necessities if I can buy them after reaching.

1.Is there a shop inside the campus where I can buy these essentials?

2.Or is it better to buy them from shops outside the campus?

3. Which option is cheaper and more convenient?

4. Are there any nearby supermarkets or stores that students usually prefer?
