I find contraddictory infos. The wiki somewhere says that if you deplete the HP and regenerate this way the robot, you still obtain the items, somewhere it doesn't specify or still seems too vague. But I also saw a video of the PC version some years ago where indeed AP were gained but no item.

So, veterans, your experience and knowledge: do you get a random item ONLY when you finally defeat the robot? Or is it possible to also get them anytime you regenerate it alongside AP?

I read this thing for the first time. The wiki says that on Steam (that's what i don't understand, if it means the remastered or specifically the PC version of the game) you must confirm Ifrit's name before 0 seconds. Is it correct? On PC version?

I discovered some time ago that the key items required for the celestial weapons are called different in english. for example, i don't remember well maybe, but in english jupiter is for wakka? in my language jupiter is for kimahri, mercury instead is for wakka. they also seem off to me, in english. except sun and moon (they are still the same, THEY HAVE TO, yuna and tidus are literally named after those). but just saying, can you find a connection between the planets and the weapons/characters? also, i see that for some reason tidus's weapon has a weird name, in my language it's called just Ultima Weapon.

I see the wiki states for t rexaur 70% defense for Death but i remember havin 100% death attack and erasing from existence this beast quite easy. Was it just pure luck or something i don't get about how status is calculated?

I read recently this thing that if you wait too long you can miss this quest.

Is it really true? Is there a timer that prevents you from starting the quest? The wiki says nothing about it.

I started some days ago to watch an old anime called Ergo Proxy. Not for this game but for other reasons. But the more I go on watching (currently episode 8) the more stuff I find making me think "... Lies of P, is that you???"

The question came to me because i see that often the last ones drop Lv.4 abilities since day 10 (although lv.4 is more available from monsters in hard mode) and looking for garbs with Attack, for example, it's very rare to have Attack Lv. 4 and also Lv. 3. So it feels like the game is telling me "bro don't worry, Lv.2 abilities is good enough".

I have this issue. I would like to play with PS buttons icon but I can't. I am on Steam and to play with my controller I have to enable SteamInput to use the controller properly. Is there still a way to enable SteamInput and have PS icons? I would rather avoid external softwares like DS4, i would prefer a native Steam method.

I am confused about this and concerned...

I played the whole game lately and I am uploading the videos on YouTube. The very last video has been shadowbanned/obscured so only I can see it, because of "protected" content, which seemes to be the 2 CGI sequences.

Now... It's quite known at least among fans, I suppose, that these videos are publicly present on YouTube (and not uploaded by Square Enix). So, anyone of you had the same issue and has some advice to maintain the video and have it public? I don't care about gaining money or visuals, it's just for the sake of having it puclic to see, as the last part of the story.

Today I discovered something. It happened with Zomok. If someone can confirm or is willing to test this out, you're welcome to update this post with your experience etc.

It came clear that Zomok can drop Aerora. You should know that from the Bestiary. But what I discovered is the Zomok seems to drop specific abilities if you kill him in specific ways. Every time i cut his tail, he dropped Galestrike powered up version (the AoE, don't remember the name). And I was like "yeah but I need Aerora, DROP Aerora". Nothing for some kills. But still I noticed he dropped that ability every time i cut his tail and when i didn't he didn't drop. After some kills it came out kinda random to kill him with magic (tail still intact, maybe not even staggered, i don't remember) and he dropped Aerora. I retried. And retried. I'm not sure totally he dropped 100% when I killed him with magic all the times, but he really started indeed to drop Aerora at least half of the times. It seemed to me it occurred similarly with Chocobo Eater but I wasn't willing to test him (I hate that guy, so...). That would also explain why Zaltys never dropped Fira for me except just once (when probably, maybe, I may have killed him in a different way), despite having Fira as a drop during the first 6 days. And Dreadnought? I'm not sure, but the last times I killed him I always cut his arms and he always dropped Firestrike (or Flamestrike? maybe that's the correct name).

I'm writing this because I never read anywhere about this, but Zomok was behaving consistently according to this. I wouldn't be surprised to discover all enemies behave like this or still some of them in general.

Experts to me. After the story bosses, for all the rest of the playthrough would you know a couple of elements that can always be good for any enemy more or less? i was going to think of thunder and wind but... i'm not so sure... or at least, i'm not so sure for major enemies. i suppose i shouldn't care for medium and small enemies to extinguish, but the big ones are another matter. problem is i have 12 slots to use and i'm considering how to use them.

i would need 2 power cuts, attack, dispel, deprotect, deshell, imperil (which in turn i suppose could help with also using only 2 elements?), debrave/defaith, 2 mediguards.

so i would have 2 slots left. and i'm still considering debrave/defaith as "only one of them"... they're simply too useful to survive more to enemies attacks, but mostly for medium/big size, like fira from ectopuddings but also a variety of attacks from earth/chocobo eaters.

also, today i was wondering: how are players supposed to play without mediguard? it's TOO useful.

I read somewhere that the title of the opeining, Fatima, is related to the next entry in the sciadv, but how exactly? Also i find it curious as a choice, as because of that it would have nothing to do directly with SG0...

By your experience, what's the least you should have to beat the final boss while not using Ultima Weapon and Shield? I did it once, but not twice, using random equipment, excluding accessories (and still in NG+, normal mode, with mostly every quest so finished at least twice if not more, i couldn't do that).

So I wonder if anyone has at least a vague idea what's the least you should have for proper dps and.... sps? (stagger per second...? stagger potential?). I only remember it's a bit of a scam for some abilities because like Aerora is fast and iirc it should hit multiple times on hit, so although Aero consumes less ATB, Aerora has in the end a higher "sps", so to speak...

I swear in several times i played the game i had no memories of this. The datalog explains that the Cactuar statue in Yusnaan was requested by Snow as a memorial to the fal'Cie having that same name, that branded him.

I'm confused about how this works. The stats make you think this attack, especially if repeated, should be enough to stagger the enemies while also dealing good damage. the latter seems true, but not the former. about the stagger, it seems almost like it is a stagger multiplicator, like, if the stagger wave "value" is 0, then this attack contributes nothing in staggering the enemy. the doubt comes observing the wave. it seems to cause a wave, yes, but it disappears right away. since the stagger duration says B, i would expect the wave to stay well visible at least for some seconds, not to disappear immediately. so i'm confused on the logic of the stagger effect of this attack. i did in fact many runs on this game but never understood this.

The game worked fine days ago. Then i deleted the "latest" nova chrysalia folder i had but i'm using the previous backup i had. It seems to see the mods are already installed but when i launch the game it says the files are not unpacked. How can it be, if literally days ago it worked?

EDIT: sorry for the rush post and edit... it seems the setup of the manager (for whatever reason) works only if you use the mod manager from the same exact path it was used before (like, i'm using it on Desktop, if i launch it from the "mods folder" instead it doesn't work, as i said above. strange but i thought this could help someone in the future.

I had memory beyond 70% weight you became heavier but now i see it's only above 80%. Has it changed in latest game patches?
