I’ve been looking to get one of the vintage style open face helmets, but theres so many on the market. Been looking at Arai, Torc, and Biltwell, none of which are ECE rated as far as I can tell. What are you wearing now?
I’ve been working on project bikes for about a full year now and riding a little bit unlicensed, and haven’t actually looked into getting an endorsement until now, since I’m finally getting a bike in roadworthy condition (03’ VTX1800). I’ve looked a little online, but I’d rather hear from people who’ve gone through the process. Thanks in advance!
I have a modded server with my friends but it seems like we constantly change modpacks without making too much progress, like ATM and DawnCraft (which I just didn’t like in general). I think that it’s because they’re’s so much changed/so many differences that it’s difficult to commit once we’ve started a world. We like the FTB Quest system, but I think we need a simpler one, with questing and new bosses/mobs, but doesn’t depart too much from vanilla? Recs?
I’ve had a Shadow 750 for a while and love it to death, but lately I’ve wanted to get a bigger bike to do a bobber build (thank god for BCB). Where I am the 1800s are only a little more expensive than 1300s, so I’m wondering what you guys think.

What the title says. I don’t have warranty anymore so I don’t want to pay for a new motherboard unless I absolutely have to. Have tried everything, restarting pc, rolling back firmware, reinstalling pit house, etc. Has anyone else had the same issue?
Incoming Nuclear Engineering major, hopefully going into reactor operations. Even the surface-level shit is complicated. I understand BWR and PWR reactors somewhat intuitively, but I can’t really wrap my head around Molten Salt Reactors.

Help needed tracing genealogy:
My materal great-grandmother (and her family) is listed in a 1926 census roll as “Misson, San Buenaventura - Mission Carmel”
She said she was Chumash.
She was born in Watsonville, as was her father. Her mother is listed as being born in Carmel, Monterey.
Three of her grandparents are listed as born in CA, one specifically Monterey. The other grandparent was born in New Mexico.
Is this enough information to surmise what band her family might have been part of?
I’m aware that it later became the 4L60 and 4L60E, but I don’t really know anything about transmissions. Is it safe to push power through it?
