Least busy times at Carmichael?
Even when I go at 8am it’s still pretty packed.
Would a planet fitness subscription be better?

If I understand correctly, putting faith in Christ and accepting his grace, & keeping God’s commandments will get us into heaven. However, we are all naturally sinners and fall short of the standard of God.
My question is, does God draw a line? If I were a rampant sinner, but still believed in Christ and loved God with my heart, would I be saved? I know Jesus died to wipe our sins clean. Can a believer sin too frequently and not make it into heaven? What does it take to actually be saved?
I’m a new Christian, so feel free to tell me I’m wrong about anything.
TL;DR What are your physical stats and how much do you bench? How long does it take to reach an “impressive” bench? Any tips for gaining strength?
I am 19F, 160lbs / 72kg, 5’7”/ 170cm.
My athletic history is… well nothing. I’ve never participated in sports and have lived an extremely sedentary lifestyle for essentially my entire life. I cannot perform a single pushup (even the knees on the floor ones) or pull up. So basically, I’m very weak.
I’ve strength trained in the past and have been unable to even perform a single rep with the standard barbell (45lb). I’ve been going to the gym for 2 months consistently and have made my new 1RM 75lbs.
My long term goal is reaching 135lb bench. What has everyone’s experience been with benching? Do you find that it takes a long time to see changes in strength? Any tips on how to get better at bench quicker?
Let me clarify. No hate to normal spark drivers. The people who are polite, help put groceries in their cars, have tidy vehicles, etc. I have no issues with them and appreciate them deeply!
But wow. I guess due to Spark being a “be your own boss” type of deal, it really attracts the WORST kind of people. I live in a lower-income southern town, so maybe that’s a factor, but these people are like……. idiots……. sorry to say it.
They have the dirtiest cars, no manners whatsoever, and expect you to put a 10+ tote order in the car by yourself. Meanwhile they yell at you for a sticker and question everything you do. I can’t stand them quite frankly. The spark shopper position attracts the absolute bottom of the barrel of the work force. These people have no other skill sets and couldn’t even get a regular job at Walmart, of all places, if they tried.
Half the time they’ll have their 5 kids in the car with them or their BM/BD. Like genuinely do neither of you have actual jobs?? How do you afford rent? Pay for your children? And why aren’t your children in school? Dear lord.
I’ve heard the quote “What has God done for me? Everything. What have I done for God? Nothing.”
What are some things that we can do for God? Things that honor him and glorify him and show our faith? I feel like I obviously believe in Christ but other than that, my life feels unchanged. What can I be doing??
I dispense more often than not and just wow. Some of these spark driver’s cars can be detected from just exiting the back room doors. There’s one lady in particular whose entire vehicle just reeks of weed. I’m not even joking, just standing 4 feet away from it I can still smell the weed so clearly. The inside is so much worse. Weed seems to be the most common, and then cigarettes. Some smell like just straight cat piss.
Maybe this is rude of me, but I would never want my groceries to be in a car that smells like that!!
I’ve ran a depop store for the past year with success but want to get into dropshipping as I am unable to operate it during college.
I understand how to dropship but the recommended suppliers are AliExpress or DH Gate. Are there any U.S alternatives? I don’t want weeks long shipping for buyers or bad products.
Thanks :)
I’ve worked in our OGP department for about a month now. On my very first day they trained me on dispensing and a little on staging.
The next day I asked if they wanted to train me on picking, since it was the only thing I hadn’t done. They said they needed me on dispensing, so that’s what I did. 2-3 days later I asked if I could go on a pick walk with a coworker to learn how to do it. Again they said no.
I have a friend and coworker who has worked here for 4 years and is very close with the management. She said she would speak to them for me and they would likely let her train me. They refused.
Since then I’ve had two other coworkers offer to train me. But management refuses.
It’s been about a month now. I am extremely well versed in dispensing and staging and have even trained some newer hires. But I have not so much as even clicked on the pick screen.
I work at 5am tomorrow and I’m told there’s not much to do except for picking. I told my TL today that I was scheduled tomorrow at 5 and haven’t learned how to pick. He stared at me for 10 seconds and then walked away without saying anything.
Is there a reason for this?? And what do I do? One of my coworkers said he has worked there for seven months and has never been trained on picking.
I had my “interview” a few days ago. A team lead just walked me in the back, in the freezer, and fridge. Didn’t explain how to set up the carts, where to go to start my shift, how to pick, etc. I was just wondering if the training videos teach all this more in depth or if it’s just general work safety knowledge.
Maybe I’m wrong.
But when I truly think about it… I don’t understand.
Why would an all-powerful deity, the one who created the universe itself, the stars, ocean, trees, animals, etc., care about homosexuality? I genuinely can’t imagine (theoretically) arriving at my time of judgement, and the Lord saying “Well, you followed allll the commandments and did everything correctly, but, you got married to a woman, so I’m afraid I can’t let you in.” Like what? Obviously that’s an extremely crude “what if” but that’s my perspective.
And ultimately, if being a homosexual is a sin, did Jesus Christ not graciously come to earth to wipe the sins of humanity away so that we may have eternal life through him? Why would being in a homosexual marriage stop that? Do people really think homosexuality is where God draws the lines? This being that we’re taught is ultimate love, won’t love us because of our love?
I just can’t.
