In search of new headphones
Are there hifi stores in the city that have a bunch of headphones that can be tested before purchasing?

My bag leaked yesterday wetting my 2020 MacBook Air which was in a case. One charging port is unresponsive and the other flickers the charging notification on and off but doesn’t charge. When I noticed this I shutdown the MacBook. Everything else had been working fine whilst I was using it 6 hours after the incident.
After shutting the device down I used a cool hairdryer on it for a minute and left it in a tent position.
Is there anything else I should do? Before taking it to a professional should I try charging it at home? Will pressurised air help? What should I expect at a Genius Bar appointment?
Any and all opinions, anecdotes and advice is appreciated.
We’re playing a lot of unfamiliar opponents this season due to the promotion and I thought it would be interesting to discuss opponents who are also relegation candidates or who we are due to play next (or all games) with other fans who are watching the game.
Do you want to know about the Premier League opener opponent?
I’m guessing many fans know almost nothing about Coventry City having been absent from the Premier League for around 25 years. I’m an Arsenal fan and member who is also a Coventry City season ticket holder so I’m well-informed on both clubs. I’m happy to answer any questions about what to many is an unknown opponent.
Wright ruled out for 3 months with a quad injury.
Rudoni and EMC are in contention for Friday.
Head Coach Frank Lampard has provided an injury update on forward Haji Wright.
The striker has been absent from recent friendly matches against RCD Espanyol and AS Monaco.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League opener against Arsenal, Lampard said: “Haji Wright won’t be available for the Arsenal game.
“He won’t be available for a little while, he’s got a very serious quad injury which is disappointing for Haji and for us.
“It’s certainly going to be a number of weeks, could even be up to 12 weeks.”
Lampard did have more positive news on Ephron Mason-Clark and Jack Rudoni, who have also missed matches in pre-season and confirmed they will be both be in contention to face the Gunners.
The draw for the Carabao Cup takes place today with City being ball #8. Who would you like to draw in the cup? Does it make a difference now we’re in the Premier League?

I’m a complete novice when it being an owner of plants. I have a Carmona Microphylla Bonsai (Oriental/Fukien Tea Tree) and I’m worried it is dead.
I have had the plant for a couple of months. I allowed to soil to dry out by not watering it for three days. Before then there were new small white flowers blooming every day but since then (about 2 weeks ago) I’ve only seen one flower, the leaves are turning brown, the flowers are dead.
I’m not sure if it the tree is dead, if it has been under watered/over watered, is it possible to save the tree?
I would be very sad if my tree is dead but I’d rather stop attending to it if it is.
Any and all help is welcome. TIA
The ticket exchange is becoming harder to secure tickets from the better the team does. I understand it’s easier to secure tickets closer to the date of the fixture. Will this fixture be particularly hard to secure tickets for because it’s the opening fixture? I’ve never been to the first or final fixture of a season before.
I’m a red member who entered the ballot and unsuccessful.
I understand an enquiry has previously been made about creating an official Reddit supporters’ club but was rejected for lacking a geographical location.
There are exceptions that allow a supporters’ group to be recognised that don’t hinge on a location. With the growth of social media and Doug King’s desire to rake in more money, maybe the club is more likely to accept an application for a Reddit supporters’ club.

The purge on points has taken place ahead of the new season.
Have there been posts by the club or fan pages that give an indication as to how many fans fit into each bracket? I’m on 1200+ as of today and desperate to go to away games. I wanted to start make travel arrangements ahead of the new season but unsure if tickets will be open to me.
Saw this in a supporters group.
I was sitting pretty with 1500+ points planning to go to away games this season 😢
I bought a cold pack of 4 sausage rolls. They have no expiry date on them. How many days after purchase are they suitable for consumption?
There are so many things that I deem to be niche which I enjoy about being in the Championship: this sub, memes, genuine fans, matchday atmosphere, no hesitation during goal celebrations.
I don’t know what niche things to expect or to look forward to next season in the Premier League with my local club winning the Championship. Maybe some fans who have been between the leagues can share some insight.
Last week I bought a return ticket on the 28th for travel to London Euston on the 30th. There was maintenance taking place at Coventry and Birmingham meaning I couldn’t board my local station. There was a rail replacement bus in place which would take me to a neighbouring town where I could board my train. This maintenance would add over an hour to my journey so I opted not to take it. I wasn’t aware of the maintenance or the delay.
I have tripes submitting a refund ticket through their app but it was rejected. Should I be eligible for a refund?
Is there a venue where fans of the Premier League winners will be gathering to watch the final?
