But the thing that gives me pause is that its from 2019.

Just wondering is there any newer version?

Or is there any new version coming in the next few months?

At the risk of drivin ye all mad with another of these posts.. my apologies in advance.

I am hoping to replace my Formuler Z8 cos I've just been driven mad by the well know wifi issues.

I can't seem to find an nvidia shield pro anywhere I can buy it... so am looking at the google tv 4k or possibly the mecool meon1.

I use the box for tivimat and stremio.

Location Id have it in would require wifi.

Not going Formuler again cos of their policy of leaving older products behind and not supporting them with updates.

So thinking the Google box..

But Im not really up to speed on all the formats and technical details.. I do know I like watch stuff in DV on my sony bravia.. and any UHD10+ stuff doesn't work on the firestick I have in a different TV.

Around here the mecool and the google are close in price.. so not much of an issue.

I'd apprecate a few helpful opinions.

I've been struggling to get going with wingfoiling. Finally realised that at 86kg with an old secondhand Gong board and a 4.6m wing not much chance of getting me going in anything other than a gale.

To get half a chance to get standing on the board I need to go out in flatter conditions. I either keep getting pitched off the board before I can get stable, in strong winds (and waves), or Im breaking my back holding this wing up over my head hoping to catch a gust in lighter winds..

So I suppose I'll just have to spend money on a 6m ish wing so I might be some way right in lighter conditions.

I am coming back from a 10 yr hiatus from windsurfing.. and really miss being able to have a boom to lean back off of... also find that separate handles are a pain.. I often get standing, grab at the back handle, miss, and end up in the water again..

So I'm lookin at 6m wings with a boom.

Anyone got any suggestions for where to look online for EU suppliers and what wing/brand to look for? Or stay away from?

Just wondering is there a specific addon that would help me find old tv shows like Jacques Cousteau and things like that.. Im also not finding newish shows like Counter Space. And I'm interested in any food/cooking related series as well..

Do I need to add different sources? Currently using torrentio, piratebay+ and Comet.

I saw something mentioned about newsgroups? But I didn't really understand .. so I'd appreciate a little nudge in the right direction.

Just got a 10a. My first pixel phone.

Coming from a Poco x3 pro.

Really miss the way the xiaomi's do reminders that dont stop sounding until you turn em off.

I have to clock in and out of work and now I keep missing them cos the reminders on the pixel only give a single beep (or whatever).. yeah, I know, I'm a disaster, if I dont get bugged I forget..

Anyone know what the best way to get notifications that don't stop until I hit the button?

Presumably its some app I have to get?

Stremio has been working brilliantly on my Sony Bravia android tv for a while now.

But recently its happened that I have to reboot the TV completely in order to get Stremio to work.

I start the app and all I get is a black screen.. no menus .. nothing..
I've tried force stopping the app and clearing the cache etc.. but still doesn't work. Then I just reboot the TV and it will then work.

Once I exit Stremio, if I try to start it again.. black screen..

I am not sure what to do now to figure this out.. would it be an addon? Is there a procedure I should follow to try to debug this?

tivimate on firestick 4k

Hi,

I hadn't used tivimate in a coupla weeks.

When I started it I got a message about updating the app. I said no cos the match was starting and I didn't want to miss kickoff.

Anyway, no channels would work.

I force stopped the app and cleared the cache. But did no good and didn't get the update message again.

I thought it might be my provider. They gave me a different server address. When I enter that in the xtream codes params and try to apply changes I get "failed to update playlist"

So I think my install might be corrupted? Can I get a downloader code so I can just remove and reinstall please?

Is there something else to try first?
