Greatest State College High Nittany Lion of all time?

Hi!

Who do we think is the greatest Nittany Lion of all time that graduated from State College High School? Was just wondering if there’s a consensus opinion. Go Little Lions!

History of Memphis Tigers Football Wikipedia article has 858 references, the 9th most of all Wikipedia articles

I was recently looking at Wikipedia’s articles with the most references and was surprised to see the sport-related article with the most references is the History of Memphis Tigers football with 858 references... 9th most throughout all of Wikipedia. The sports-related article with the second most references is the History of Idaho Vandals football (748 references). So many of the references are links to individual ESPN game summaries. Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Feedback Center page not processing my submission, trying to remove months from my PSLF count

Hi!

Back in 2021 and 2022 I was paid using 1099 income (10 total months). Neither I nor my employer were aware at that time that only W2 income counts towards PSLF. I submitted my ECF, my employer’s HR authenticated it and Mohela processed it. So basically I have 10 months of PSLF-qualifying months that are erroneous.

I am trying to use FSA’s Feedback Center to get them to officially remove those months from my account, as per an FSA customer service rep’s advice. The problem is that when I submit the form I get a “Page not available” error message. There is no entry in “Review My Cases” tab so I confident that the submissions are not being processed. I have tried multiple times over the past several weeks and I get the same error message every single time.

Basically I feel stuck. Everyone at FSA tells me they are not able to remove those 10 months and the only mechanism for an official review doesn’t seem to work.

Working/paying 10 extra months on the backend is not a viable option since I will pursue a buyback for my SAVE administrative forbearance… I predict that the buyback offer would be for fewer months than necessary.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Are PSLF-qualifying PROCESSING forbearance months being honored when exiting the SAVE administrative forbearance?

Hi!

Like many, I am bracing to exit the SAVE administrative forbearance... I plan on applying for PAYE when finally forced later this year.

Is FSA/ED currently granting PSLF-qualifying processing forbearance months during the transition? If so, the obvious next question becomes what can I do to ensure that my PAYE application takes 60+ days to process so that I "earn" the PSLF-qualifying processing forbearance? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Parking my vehicle in/near Albany while I ride the Empire State Trail

Hi all!

I’ll be biking from Albany to Buffalo in July… plan is to take Amtrak from Buffalo back to Albany afterward. Can someone please recommend somewhere in/near Albany where I can store my vehicle for the week that I am riding the Empire State Trail?

Best SAVE-to-PAYE transition strategy

Hi all!

I’ve been on the SAVE administrative forbearance since the beginning. I expect to hit 120 months summer 2027. My plan is to transition to PAYE and then apply for a buyback for the ~2 years that I was on the SAVE administrative forbearance and hope for the best. In the mean time what is the best strategy for applying for PAYE? For additional context my salary has increased considerably since my most recent income certification. Any advice would be appreciated!

Chainsuck/chainring disengagement problems after only 67 miles?

Hi all!

Working with a 1x12 GRX drivetrain. Waxed Shimano 12sp chain has less than 200 miles. Recently installed a new 44t Wolf Tooth Drop-Stop ST chainring in anticipation of a ~350 mile bike trip… just finished day 1 with 67 miles. After I installed the Wolf Tooth chainring I tested it to make sure the chain was cleanly disengaging from the chainring… worked perfectly. Now after 67 miles I am experiencing noticeable chainsuck. Every link is having trouble disengaging the chainring. Very frustrating. Any ideas why this problem has developed so rapidly? Today’s ride was on dry gravel.

Best strategy for a two-color vinyl logo decal on a bicycle

Hi everyone!

I have a decal project in mind (would outsource the actual work) but wanted to ask this community for some advice.

I have a new bicycle with a very busy paint job. I would like to apply a rectangular vinyl decal with an intricate logo cut out. Rather than have the underlying paint show through the logo cut out, I’d like a white background. So I figure the best strategy is to first apply a pure white vinyl rectangle and then put the logo vinyl decal on top of the white vinyl. My obvious goal is not to damage the bicycle’s paint job.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi!

I’ve got multiple spare links from various Shimano 11 sp and 12 sp chains that I’ve cut in the past. I am trying to organize them. Just to confirm, if a link’s outer plate is marked as “HG” it’s a 12 sp chain. That is in contrast to an outer plate that is marked as “HG-X11” which is an 11 sp chain. Any insight would be appreciated!

Hi everyone!

I’ve got a 1x12 GRX drivetrain with a 10-51 cassette. I upsized my chainring from a 40t to a 44t. Chainlength seems okay to me but was wondering if there’s a rule of thumb for when to add chainlinks. Any insight would be appreciated!

Hi everyone!

Was re-watching The Chemical Brothers' 2019 Glastonbury concert and was wondering what other awesome professionally recorded full-length EDM concerts are available on YouTube. Not interested in some random fan's cell phone recording (sound quality is usually meh). Suggestions and recommendations are appreciated!

I am considering renting an RV for a PSU football tailgate for the 2026 season. Was wondering if there is a company in the area that specializes in renting out tailgate supplies (eg chairs, portable grill, sound system, etc.). Goal would be to pick and drop off… no delivery needed. Recommendations are appreciated!
