Some background: I was really struggling with the "Skimspeeder champion" gold medal. I looked for a few videos and found one that was 2 seconds under the gold medal time. Keep in mind my best time is still 2 seconds behind even getting gold and it was a much cleaner run. I look at the comments and people are talking about how much faster knife edge is. I try it out. I didn't just knife edge on the sharp corners, I knife edged EVERY turn and I got the medal first try. It honestly feels like a speed boost. It's not just maintaining speed during a drift like the land speeder. Maybe this is already known by the community, but I definitely missed it.

I am up to DL 47. I have all rows filled to the max except for the far right. The furthest I've gotten is second phase of the final boss. I really just need more boss practice. Specifically the later ones. With them healing off my damage, I really need to optimize my movement and not get hit. Is there a mod where I can just fight the bosses over and over? Even if I can't choose spells, or character, it doesn't really matter. I just need to make their attacks second nature.

Edit: I just saw the roadmap includes a boss rush? Maybe I will need to wait for that.

People seemed to enjoy my last recommendation, and I found another similar story. This one is about a peasant in a feudal society who dies and becomes a "Tower Master". He can choose what monsters he wants and goes all in on bees. I really enjoy the chapters that are from the bee's perspective, as they try and understand what his intentions are. Its very reminiscent of Beware of Chicken in that aspect. The novel also has questionable artwork that are probably turning a lot of people away. One is an anime character in a full suit of bee plate mail, and the other is reminiscent of DCC. I'm still on book 1, so the quality might dip, but the reviews seem solid.

I've been playing for a few days and am up to 20 heat. For Hades most people hover around 32. For people who have a few hundred hours in the game, when does the difficulty start making the game unfun? Ie you have to optimize your build, can't use every character/weapon etc. I know the himothy's will say "you can beat heat 99 with any character and any build", but I am just a mortal man.

I just checked it out on a whim and its very similar to Beware of Chicken. A man isekai's into a new environment and does their best with the given circumstances. The difference is, he is a sentient dungeon. The reason I think they are so similar is the main characters mentality. His dungeons don't kill, it wants to nurture adventurer's and help them grow. He also has many animal followers, who have their own trials and tribulations, which is very reminiscent of Beware of Chicken. He slowly starts changing the world around him, one of peace and cooperation. There are 4 books out now, and I've only read the first so far. Give it a read if you are caught up on your other novels.

Does anyone know how the enemy ai chooses who to target? Do they base it off your character's defense stat, current hp, if you are defending, or just purely random? I know when enemies get low they use different attacks, but not much more than that.

I've heard she's amazing with thrown items, but with such a limited inventory space, it feels like I'm being incentivized to not rely on them. The fact that she has no additions really turns me away from her.

Is it something where only your 2nd or 3rd playthrough does she really shine? I imagine if you had the perfect counter element magic for every boss she could be great. As for my first playthrough, I just can't stock 4 of every element.

I'm looking to rekindle some of my childhood joy and start collecting ps1 games. How is the average re sell market? Have speculators ruined it? I looked on ebay for a few games I used to play and it seemed pretty hit or miss. Some were crazy and some were very cheap. Also what's the best location to buy ps1 games? Just ebay and fb marketplace?

I've always liked LC's view on mercy. It's not that he's merciful, it's the fact he's unbelievably confident in him self and anything less would break his dao heart (and his very specific cultivation). If he beats them once he can always beat them again. Worrying about them would be a sign of weakness.

It's such a refreshing take compared to digging up weeds by the root, going back 9 generations of relatives.

Are there similar stories? Where a character shows mercy because of the sheer confidence in himself and not their moral grand standing?

You can't go from the very beginning to the very end in one run. I just finished a run and had to return after the Architect fight. There should be a way to keep going. I was at 97 proficiency and wanted to reach 100.

I've beaten the Cathedral 3 times now and only have 15 collected. Where are the other 35?? Do I just need to keep grinding the level over and over?
