Hazel Mae has reported that Captain Kirk wasn’t making any sort of statement not putting on the home run jacket but rather Jr was trying to fix something wrong with the sleeve so Kirk didn’t really notice it and ran right by.

Is anyone buying that?

I’m not.

According to Jeff Passan and Kiley McDaniel of ESPN, the Jays are going to not just be targeting starting pitching but also infielders.

I’m sorry, but what? Where exactly do we need help?

Okamoto? Giménez? Clement? Vlad Jr?

Surely not them. I know catchers aren’t considered infielders typically but maybe they meant the Jays catchers need an upgrade. So Kirk? Or is it Valenzuela?

Please someone explain what I’m missing here. If they’re discussing using their resources to target a backup infielder I don’t think I’m alone in the feeling that the team has far more pressing matters than a backup infielder.

The Blue Jays might be 9.5 games back of the Yankees but the strengths of their opponents have not been even close to similar.

To give you some idea of what I’m talking about the Yankees have played a total of 19 games against teams who are at or above .500 and the Blue Jays have played 37 games (snoogins) against teams who are at or above .500.

The Jays are about to tear this open I just feel it.

I haven’t gotten a single marketing email from stake in June. Usually I’d get some sort of bonus by this point or an invite to sign up for the newsletter, or whatever - but so far not a peep.

Is this just me?

I’m not complaining I’m just used to getting at least a couple of emails a week from them and now not a word.

I have been watching since he was living on that land illegally and was forced to move off and clean it up.

I was there when he lived on Luckys land, then Nate 1.0, then that other land he thought was going to be his, then Nate 2.0, then girlfriend winter when we all thought it was over.

But now that he has his land and we can watch him go through all the trials and tribulations of learning how to live on his own basically from scratch I am so incredibly excited about his channel now I am totally in.

This pepper plant is just about three years old. It grew bell peppers - smallish ones for the first time last summer into the fall - and the winter that just passed was the first one I “over wintered” the plant by cutting off its leaves and some of its branches and watered it much less.

I have been giving it sunlight, watering it and as much warmth as possible for about 6 weeks and the new growth shooting out of the bottom started about 2 weeks ago.

I have been reading that now that the plant is “showing me” where it wants to grow I should be pruning it elsewhere. What does that mean? Do I cut more off the top? More branches?

Any help would be great.

If they can start warming up in the hitting department - with the three ace starters and the killer bullpen this team is going to be a real problem for the rest of the MLB down the stretch.

How do they decide that a guy who has never played in the mlb and was just released (I’m being reminded that he wasn’t released by the Giants but rather he was left unprotected) by another team is worthy of being immediately called up to the bigs?

And be totally right about it?
