Reading "Lily's Boy" made me think of the fan art with Lupin + Sirius swinging a toddler-aged Harry between them. I'd love to read a longer story that incorporates Wolfstar and Harry, either as a baby or after. Not exactly looking for slow burn; mostly ones where Harry has a strong relationship with his godfathers. I'd really love one where Sirius is declared innocent after PoA and goes from there through the end of the second war.

hey all - i'm looking to get out of the hobby. I have a small but healthy planted 10G tank with 2 mystery snails, a couple neon tetras, and a 3-4 cardinal tetras. I think i also have a kuhli loach but i don't see her very often.

there's also a light bar and a new filter (i forget which brand). I'm happy to give everything away, but i am not sure what the best way to transport everything.

Hey all - test drove a base XLT today, and heading back to drive both an XL and an XLT with the Lux and tech package to see what i end up with. For those of you that have switched out your steel XL rims to something better, what did you use?

I've been eyeing the Maverick for quite a while, and ChatGPT said to buy:

1. Maverick Hybrid, AWD/4k for the resale value

I drive about 15k a year, usually no more than 3.5 hours at a time (to Myrtle or Raleigh for work). Not super concerned with the backseat as it will be 98% just me or maybe a teenager being retrieved from school. I don't need anything too crazy weather-wise, but i have a soft spot for VW's and Subies. Any horror stories on my list? I am old enough (GenX) to prefer used, but i know the value hasn't been there at my price range. I don't want a $5,000 car, and it might not be worth it interest-rate wise even to get a $15,000 loan on an '18-'21 Camry or Accord.

I recently read A Mauraders Plan, A Portrait Through Time/Concerned Citizen, Fighting From The Shadows, The Disapperance of Herminone Granger, and The Boys from Bulgaria and really like them. (i realize that not everything i referenced is Harmony-centric, but i prefer Harmony over other ships).

(sspelling errorss left to demonstrate my frustration) So - i have a Keychron V3 Max (brown switches) for about 18 months, and for the passt few monthss, my "ss" key is double-striking. I have been looking through reviews and other subs trying to figure out how to fix it. Occassionally, i'll also need to reset it because other keys (random numberss, for example) are showing up when i type. I have been using it wired to my Mac Mini for a while when the BT started to be fritzy. So i have two questions: First, sshould i bother trying to fix this? Lots of other feedback seems to indicate that my build year (May, 2024) allignss with a decrease in overall quality or known bugss on this model.

Second, is there a more reliable mechanical keyboard i could purchase instead? US, budget of around $200, nice and clicky, etc? I tend to sstrike my keys pretty firmly, but i'm in my own office with a door. I don't need crazy amounts of cusstomization as i'm only using it for basic office work (but i am on a Mac, so native Mac support would be great). I'm even willing to buy a nicer Keychron if theres's significant quality improvement. Thanks

Looking for an AO3 Harry/Hermione fic. Adult Harry is transported (or dreams he’s transported) to an AU where Voldemort never existed. James and Lily are alive and teach at Hogwarts. Harry is famous as a dueling champion. Hermione is shy and Harry doesn’t know her at first. They spend a lot of time in the Room of Requirement, fall in love, and Harry eventually tells James and Lily he’s from another universe. Sirius has a daughter. Harry returns to his own world, and the epilogue years later has Ron and Hermione divorced, with Harry and Hermione marrying.

Just finished it and loved the take on GoF. Sirius never flees after PoA, and through political machinations is able to act as Harry’s godfather. 800,000 words!

I'm a total fic novice, having just stumbled across "The Boys From Bulgaria" by LongLight06 on AO3. I loved how the author continued to push the ideas of magic into more practical uses, and I can't wait until this work is completed. Are there any other recommendations for similar stories?

I also read A Portrait Through Time by Purebloodgoddess and loved it as well.

I guess i'm looking for more high-level reimaginings that are more adventure, mystery, or drama focused, without emphasizing random romantic pairings just for fun.

2.5 years ago, we leased a Telluride with 12,000/year. I was pushing for 15,000, but the dealer couldn't/wouldn't get the numbers right. Well, we now have 53,000 miles on the damn thing due to my wife's new job. It is the only car we have that's large enough to drive the family + luggage on any type of trip, so the car is also used for that. KBB is saying $28,000, but the dealer is only giving $26,000 or so. I think the trade payoff is like $30,000. Is there any world that exists where trading in and getting into another lease makes any type of sense for this type of mileage? We would rather purchase, but that is going to shoot our payment way up for a vehicle that we need.
