Moved into my first apartment

Hi! I just moved into my first ever apartment 3 days ago, the unit I’ve moved into has been vacant for the past year as it was a new build.

The neighbors below me came to complain about us walking, them knowing we have just moved in and they are already complaining.

The complex says they have just been use to it being nobody above them and don’t worry.

Now I’m petrified to even move in my apartment because I’m afraid of being targeted by them because of noise or being kicked out. We try to be in bed by 8 and I have added carpets everywhere, how can I handle this?

North Carolina Medicaid

Does anyone have experience?

I moved to North Carolina from another state and I’m trying to apply for Medicaid but they are taking my old pay into consideration to approve or deny my Medicaid. It’s 7 dollars over the income but I have dependents and it sounds like the dependents have their own income limit not included in mine I’m confused but hoping I still have a chance to get Medicaid even though it’s 7 dollars over because they took the last job that reported for May

How does it work when applying

It’s my first time renting, I see houses I want to apply to but I’m afraid to spend all the money on the application and there’s tons of people who already submitted their application and I waste money.

What are things to look at when applying?

What are things to ask?

What are red flags?

Need advice how to get my script filled on Lilly direct

Hey! It’s me again! I’ve been trying for 4 weeks to get my script established through Lilly direct.

My doctor had submitted the orders probably about 5 times now, it keeps going to Amazon through Lilly direct and quoting me over 1,000 for the meds for the month. I don’t get what’s going wrong, that was the point of going through Lilly direct to get it to $299 a month.

Is there some cheat code I’m missing? I just want the meds and it’s taking forever

Helping a loved one in recovery

Hi! I have a loved one in recovery who will be transferring states and I am trying to help them with a safe plan before and as they move to the new state.

Currently their day to day revolves around everything recovery which means their jobs include being a crisis specialist and recovery house manager and overseeing multiple recovery houses, so always helping people and always being needed.

I am very nervous for this move for them because they are moving to a new state and will have to start all over from job and everything else that comes along with moving and I don’t know what I can do to support them the best way. Currently they are always busy helping others and filling their cup I want to be able to set them up so the move is successful and they can find all the things in the new state they help with support.

For anyone who has done a successful move over to a new state in recovery what is tips that could help me support them or help set them up for success

Looking for recovery resources

Hello! I’m looking for nonjudgmental advice, resources, and connections for someone preparing to move to Raleigh from another state. They are transferring on probation and are very committed to their recovery.

They have been in recovery for several years and currently work as a recovery crisis specialist and also help manage recovery houses. Recovery and staying active in service work is a huge part of what keeps them thriving, so I’m trying to help them build a solid support system before the move.
They do not have social media, so I’m trying to help gather resources and connections to help them

We are looking for:
• Recovery/crisis specialist jobs or other recovery field positions
• Information on transferring peer support or recovery-related certifications to North Carolina
• Good AA/NA meetings in the Raleigh area
• Advice on finding a sponsor and becoming active in the recovery community quickly
• Any organizations, groups, or people who are supportive of individuals rebuilding their lives
They are extremely dedicated, dependable, and active in helping others through crisis situations, and I’m hoping to help them stay connected and busy in a positive way because they truly flourish when they are involved in recovery work and service.

Thank you in advance for any helpful or kind recommendations.

Moving

I am moving in about 6 weeks, when is it best to change my address so I don’t miss any claims.

I know I read a lot of people that moved ended up missing their products later on because it took too long for them to update their address. Some claims have taken 2 weeks to receive while some have taken over 2 months to ship out so idk when it’s best to change it
