Going for platinum on all 3 Spiderman games. Miles Morales completely changed my mind about needing a break.

Going for platinum on all 3 Spiderman games. Miles Morales completely changed my mind about needing a break.

Recently finished Miles Morales after grinding through Spider-Man Remastered platinum trophy and completing all of its DLCs. Honestly I went in expecting to feel a bit tired of the same formula but instead I was amazed. I finished the game within a week with about 18 hours of play for the platinum.

Playing as Miles from start to finish this time made such a difference, no MJ missions!! His arc really got to me, going from this nervous kid to stepping up and actually becoming Spider-Man, learning what responsibility really means along the way. The stuff with his mom, Ganke and Phin felt so real, there's this random Christmas table scene that may not be that significant but I just sat there watching the whole thing. Plus having Ganke as a side kick was so cool.

Villains felt a bit generic, Roxxon and Underground doing the same corporate manipulation thing Sable and Fisk did in the first game. Didn't really miss having a strong villain though, the game didn't need one.

Talking about the gameplay. The traversal felt so much better this time. Miles is just more agile and fun to swing around as. That first black suit moment with the music hit hard, genuinely one of my favorite scenes in either game. The bridge sequence and final fight both felt like something out of a movie.

Combat wise the venom abilities added were cool. The mix of main quests and side content felt well balanced. Prowler was annoying though. And not to forget that Cat Spider-Man was hilarious and fun to watch.

Platinum was so much less grind than the original. The FNSM app made crime easy and the shorter length actually worked in its favor for me.

Just watched Brand New Day, so I am thinking to dive straight into Spider-Man 2 next. Should I go ahead? Also what are your thoughts about the game compared to the first one? Which one you guys loved more?

[Spider-Man Miles Morales] Platinum #7. Didn't expect to enjoy this so much and that too straight after Spider-Man Remastered

18-20 hours and done. Honestly went in a bit burnt out after grinding through the Platinum for Spider-Man Remastered and finishing all its DLCs. I wasn't sure I even wanted to play another Spider-Man game right now. Ended up loving every bit of this one.

We get to play as Miles the whole way through this one, there in no switching to MJ missions. It just made everything feel more focused. Also having a friend like Ganke was really cool. Overall, watching Miles go from this unsure kid to actually owning the mantle, that journey stuck with me more than I expected. The bond he shares with his Mom, Ganke and Phin felt genuinely wholesome throughout and it is easily one of the better parts of the story. Adding on, the Christmas setting made the city feel completely different too, really cozy snowy vibe.

Talking about the combat and gameplay, it felt fresh with the venom powers thrown in and also the traversal was so much snappier this time. The FNSM app made tracking crimes way less annoying than the original, and the balance between main story and side content felt just right. Prowler was kind of annoying but that one mission with the Cat Spider-Man was hilarious and fun😆

This needed two playthroughs for the platinum because of NG+ trophies but it genuinely didn't feel like a chore at any point. Only real challenge I found was one for completing a base in full stealth but it just needed some patience.

Watched Brand New Day recently so I am really pumped to go for another swing. Should I dive into Spider-Man 2 next or should I wait? 😁

Finally finished it on PS5. Felt like so much game packed into one game. It was a fun ride, an ultimate co-op adventure.

Sharing thoughts and a few clicks after finishing Split Fiction with my wife taking over 20-25 hours. Coming from It Takes Two and A Way Out, this was the most ambitious of the three and that ambition is both its biggest strength and weakness.

Gameplay variety is genuinely impressive, constantly throwing new mechanics at you. But there were moments especially in Mio's futuristic chapters where things moved so fast we couldn't even register what was happening. The game is so eager to show you something new that it sometimes forgets to let you breathe.

That said the final chapters were incredible and the Cold Potato trophy in the game show side story was the most intense 2 hours of co-op gaming we've experienced. Some of the side stories were brilliant too, the space one and the dentist one especially.

Story wise we connected more with It Takes Two. Mio and Zoe took a while to really grow on us compared to Cody and May whose story felt more grounded.

Still, the creativity on display is unlike anything else I have played so far. We totally enjoyed the dynamics of gameplay. Which other co-op games should we play now?

Spider-Man Remastered on PS5. A solid game but took a while from me to get going

Sharing some clips and thoughts from my recent 30 hours playthrough. Finally completed all districts and got the platinum. I found the story was average through act 1 and 2 but act 3 really picked up and saved it for me. The sinister six villains were great and the boss fights were mostly fun. Good character work with MJ, Aunt May and Dr Octavius. Also loved the Miles Morales setup. The story connections made act 3 genuinely engaging.

Combat felt repetitive initially but grew on me as I started experimenting with different moves. Getting the 100 combo trophy was actually really satisfying. Taskmaster challenges were the highlight of the side content for me.

The not so great parts: research stations were annoying, waiting around for crime scenes to hit 100% was boring, and there are way too many circuit puzzles. Skipped most of them. Coming from Ghost of Tsushima as my previous game, the emotional impact wasn't quite the same here. The Mr Negative and Electro fights were also frustrating, too much flashy screen effects making it hard to see what's actually happening.

Swinging through the city while trying out different suits never got old though. That alone kept me going.

Not sure what's next though. Do I go for New Game+ or jump into the DLC? Or would Miles Morales be a better move? Open to suggestions.

[Spider-Man Remastered] Platinum #5. Solid game but took a while to get going

30 hours and finally got the platinum. Here's my honest take as someone who came into this as a Spider-Man fan.

Just completed Iki Island and it was a amazing

Here are some grabs from my playthrough. I decided to dive into Iki Island before closing the book on this game. Genuinely impressed with how different yet consistent it feels compared to the main island. Moving around felt a little challenging with mostly rugged landscape but the scenery felt even more beautiful on Iki.

Stuff which I loved a lot

- Eagle's poison making Jin hallucinate. And the final duel when Jin fights it. It hit hard!

- Getting to know more about Jin's past was also great. We get more details about his bond with his parents.

- The animal sanctuaries, bokken duels and archery challenges were nice add-ons

- And not to miss the super cool horse armour and abilities.

Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island DLC is so cool

Here are some grabs from my playthrough. I decided to dive into Iki Island before fully closing the book on this game. Genuinely impressed with how different yet consistent it feels compared to the main island. Eagle's poison making Jin hallucinate was so cool and getting to know more about Jin's past was also great.

New game+ is still remaining, should I jump into or come back to this later?

[A Way Out] Platinum #4. What a ride.

Finished another co-op game with my wife after It Takes Two. This one felt more like a Hollywood movie than a game. The cutscenes felt too long initially but the game was very engaging from start to finish. And man, that ending! Leo and Vincent are unforgettable characters for sure. Onto Split Fiction next.

[Ghost of Tsushima] Platinum #3 for me. What a beautiful game!

Got my PS5 last month, and this was my first proper open-world game. After getting the platinum in Astro's Playroom and It Takes Two, this one felt like a bit of a grind at close to 70 hours. It does get repetitive at times, but the scenery and story keep you hooked. It had many moments that gave me goosebumps and were genuinely emotionally moving. And that ending... just wow.

The game is so beautiful, and every new region feels fresh and dynamic. Even the side quests involving the supporting characters had depth to their storylines, making me really feel for them.

Regarding gameplay, I moved from Medium to Hard difficulty after getting the hang of the combat mechanics. The combat experience is so satisfying, both when you engage head-on and when you sneak up on enemies. The rest of the world's exploration is also interesting, especially climbing the Shrines and the beautiful composition of Haikus. So cinematic and poetic.

I am not sure which game to jump into next. I'm thinking of avoiding another big open-world game for now. Any suggestions?

Finally upgraded to the top tier. Let’s see if it holds up to hype.

Started with the ASUS Zenfone 5z in 2018, moved to the Pixel 7 in 2022, and now the OPPO Find X9 Ultra in 2026.
Always wanted a true flagship but kept holding back. After a lot of back and forth between the Vivo X300 Ultra and the Find X9 Ultra, I finally took the plunge. Wanted the black colour but couldn’t find discounted stock. Was hesitant about the orange initially but honestly, I love it now. It’s funky, vibrant, and that canyon-like texture on the back feels incredibly subtle and premium in hand.

Although I love Google ecosystem on Pixels and also the photos they take. But hardware and battery was severely lacking. Let’s see if this one holds up. I plan to use it for long term.

New to the OPPO family. Find X9 Ultra Canyon Orange.

Upgraded from Pixel 7 after 3.5 years. Before that Asus Zenfone 5z for 4 years. Always craved for THE premium Android flagship experience but kept holding back. After a lot of back and forth between the Vivo X300 Ultra and the Find X9 Ultra, I finally took the plunge. Wanted the black colour but couldn’t find it in stock at discounted rate. Was hesitant about the orange initially but honestly, I love it now. It’s funky, vibrant, and that canyon-like texture on the back feels incredibly subtle and premium in hand.
This feels like not only the best Android flagship but THE best phone available right now. Coming from stock Android so ColorOS is new territory for me. Feels very much like iOS. Still working on setting it up.
Tips from existing users very welcome!

[It Takes Two] Platinum #2 for me, #1 for my wife. What a beautiful game!

Took us around 28 hours and we're still talking about it. My wife just started with console gaming and she absolutely loved it. The game is beautiful, every chapter felt fresh and creative. Can't believe how invested we both got in something so simple yet so well made.

Should I go with Vivo or OPPO?

Preference: Camera and battery. Want iPhone like video quality for social media.

Budget: Around 1.3-1.4 lakh

Shortlisted options:

OPPO:

Find X9 Ultra

Find X9 Pro

Vivo:

X300 Ultra

X300 Pro

Upgrading from Google Pixel 7. Main use is point and shoot photography and videos for Instagram. Not a hardcore photographer but want a significant camera and battery upgrade.

Leaning toward Find X9 Pro for value but confused if the Ultras are worth the premium for video quality and better hardware.

Open to other suggestions too.

Vivo X300 Ultra at 1.36L vs OPPO Find X9 Ultra at 1.53L vs Find X9 Pro at 86k - which one should I buy in India?

Pulling the trigger on a new phone after 3.5 years on Google Pixel 7. Got some real offline and card discounts bringing prices down significantly.

Here are the prices in India

Vivo X300 Ultra: 1.36 lakh after offline and card discount

OPPO Find X9 Ultra: 1.53 lakh with freebies (earbuds, case)

OPPO Find X9 Pro: around 86k online with all discounts applied

Main priorities are camera and battery. Coming from a phone with average battery life so that's a big factor. Also want the flagship camera experience. Prefer Android over iOS.

The X300 Ultra at 1.36 feels like the best deal among the Ultras. But the Find X9 Pro at 86k is making me second guess whether I even need an Ultra.

Which one should I choose?

Needed a second controller. Ended up with this beauty 💙

I was looking for a second controller for playing co-op games with my wife and ended up going with this Astro Bot Limited Edition. Looks fantastic. Got it online from e2zstore, was skeptical initially but seems like a legit website. Can I get suggestions for some must play local co-op games?

Vivo X300 or Oppo Find X9? Pro or Ultra? Help me decide.

From India, Pixel 7 user for 3.5 years, finally upgrading. Unable decide between Oppo Find X9 Ultra/Pro and Vivo X300 Ultra/Pro.

My main gripes with the Pixel were battery life and hardware. The camera was decent. Looking for a massive upgrade in both battery and camera, and I'm okay moving away from stock Android. ColorOS looks clean enough.

The main use case is point and shoot, but I'm also curious about getting into photography properly if I find the time. My budget can stretch to around 1.4 lakh for the Find X9 Ultra without the camera kit.

Key questions: Is the Ultra's camera notably better than the Pro in everyday point and shoot scenarios, or is the gap mainly visible in zoom? And is the 40k price difference actually felt in day to day use?

UPS for both PS5 & TV, or just the console?

Do I really need a UPS that covers both the console and the screen, or is it fine to just back up the console? If the power cuts and the screen goes dark, is it safe to do a shutdown by holding the power button until the second beep? Just trying to see if I can save some money by getting a lower-capacity unit.
