Oahu surfer Koa Smith is recovering after a terrifying shark bite at a popular south shore surf break. “I may not surf that spot by myself at sunrise, but other than that, no, I’m getting back in the water as soon as I can."

Man seriously injured in non-fatal shark attack at Cromwell’s Beach

Wow first time I can ever say a shark attack happened at Diamond Head . Super popular surf spot too ! I wonder if it was an aggressive black tip reef shark or somehow a Tiger got inside the reef . The article mentioned life saving treatment had to be administered. Cannot believe it wow . Stunned .

Some of my favorite Oahu beaches

You can’t stop falling in love
With each and every beach you come across in Oahu . Not always crowded and sometimes there are endangered monk
Seals you better stay away from but the majority of every one is a dream landscape .

Beaches and views from the South Shore

Isn’t Honolulu just beautiful ! Here are some notable spots you cannot miss while visiting here . Kapiolani Park and its adjacent shoreline , Kaimana beach usually for locals but great for the social vibe , further along the coast Kahala beach , then Makapuú then ultimately Waimānalo . It’s just a day trip to see all these magnificent shorelines. Don’t miss one !

Beautiful Queens Surf beach park

Great place to go on an early morning walk along the ocean and definitely out on the jetty for unobstructed ocean , Waikiki and Diamond-head views

Wild roosters of Honolulu

Some argue they are jungle fowl mixed with domestic, whatever they are, if you come to any corner in Hawaii they will be in every parking lot, fast food restaurant, school yard or public park . We love em .
