I want a book that has a military MMC. Active duty is great and veteran is good too. With a soft and gentle FMC. I do not want the FMC to have a military background, but it is ok if her family is military. Height difference is great. I would really love a Scottish, English, or even a German MMC. No American MMCs. I 100% want there to be smut. Not dark romance kind of smut, but still plentiful and explicit.

I mostly read historical romance & sci-fi/alien romance. I have read some contemporary, but it’s not my favorite. I feel like what I’m asking for is likely to be found in the contemporary genre though. Which is totally fine.

If there is an audiobook, great. If not, I’m down with reading.

Honestly, I’ll take a really well written fan fiction too.

I’m currently fiendishly obsessed with the COD characters like König, Ghost, and Soap.

I have been enjoying the game and also feel a little lost.

I don’t usually play games like this. I love playing games with heavy story and objectives to complete. This is very new to me, so I feel bit unsure of what to do.

Wish there was something that showed me a list of objectives I could do. I know this is a play how you want kind of game, so a list of things to do would be a nice optional thing to have.

Completing tasks and checking boxes is something I enjoy. I don’t really know what to do next in the game. I’m flying by the seat of my pants and it feels overwhelming to me.

I saw on the roadmap that NPC quests is something intended for the future. Which sounds fun too.

Just started playing. I got a truck and put a bunch of stuff in the bed. A bunch of miscellaneous stuff; soil, tools, food, and just about anything else I didn’t feel like carrying. Been driving around and exploring. I stopped and now the bed of the truck is empty.

I did get to a small wreck, did that throw everything out of the truck? I didn’t physically see anything but even with all the stuff I had in the bed it didn’t actually show anything either.

Idk I’m super confused.

I have a serious problem with switching back and forth between past and present tense in my writing.

It’s a problem I have always had. I remember getting critiqued on it by teachers as far back as middle school. It’s understandable that a young writer may have this issue, yet you would think after a couple decades this habit would eventually cease. Nope! I have never been able to stop. I catch the issue in editing and it’s beyond frustrating for me because it’s not intentional.

Sometimes I think I’m doing well, then go back and see I did it. One paragraph will have present tense and the next will have past tense. I may do past tense for a bit then suddenly switch to present. Sometimes vice versa.

It makes no sense! Why do I do this?

Honestly, I think Lori would have been a bit upset at first. Then, she would have eventually understood. I think so much of her reaction was from the betrayal of a man she trusted. A man she was giving her heart and body to.

On my millionth rewatch lol so figured I’d post the thought. A thought I’m sure many have had and discussed. Just felt like putting it out there.

EDIT: A lot of people are focusing too hard on the verbiage used here. When I said “lie” I wasn’t meaning it literally. I couldn’t think of a better way to describe it in the minute it took me to write this post.

What are some medication options for my senior dog? She is 15.5 years old and is currently on trazodone and gabapentin.

I’m going to have a talk with our vet about this because I feel like a medication change would be helpful. We’ve had to increase her meds over the last 6-8 months with the approval of our vet.

I don’t think it’s working anymore and some options that have worked for your dog would be nice to bring up.

Recently she has been so much more restless. Especially at night. I know it’s sundowning and the meds were helping for a long time. Not as much anymore.

In past talks, our vet said there were other options. What have you tried? What helped?

As the title says, what’s a zompoc book you wish would get turned into a TV show or movie?

Would it be a TV show or a movie? Who would you want producing it? Who would you want writing the script and directing? Do you have actors in mind?

I would live to see The City Series by Sarah Lyons Fleming get produced into an HBO series or an Apple TV series. HBO is amazing, but Apple has done some great work adapting books into shows.

Personally, I don’t know who I would want writing and directing it.

On June 16th, placed an order for a radiator. Paid extra for shipping for it to arrive on Thursday June 18th.

June 17th at 11am, get an email stating it shipped. I checked tracking and it shows that the “Shipper created a label, UPS has not received the package yet.”. Understandable, I wait.

18th comes and goes, still has the same status. It’s the 19th and it’s still the same status! RA has no customer service so there’s no talking to anyone and figuring out what’s going on. On the website it says “shipped”.

There is no way that UPS has this package. They scan their packages at every point in shipping. So does this mean that RA has basically only made my shipping label and that’s it? Do they even have the radiator I ordered? Is RA just a big scam website?

The “help” section is a joke. What do I even do at this point?

My 15 year old dog Bella has taken to waking up between 3-4am. She’s up because she’s hungry. For her entire life she has always been fed in the morning and evening, roughly 12 hours apart. Years ago, it was 7 or 8am. As she has gotten older she has woken up earlier and earlier.

I have never been a morning person. However, I love her to pieces and will do anything for her. For the last year she has been taking trazodone and gabapentin. With our vet’s approval we increased her dosage a few months ago. Even then, around that time she was waking up around 5, maybe 6 on weekends when our morning alarms weren’t going off.

About 3 weeks ago she had dental surgery. Got 6 teeth removed and a deep clean. This is when the 3/4am wake ups started. A few days after she came home. She was on a soft diet for a week afterwards, but it wasn’t reduced. She got a rice, sweet potato, cottage cheese mix with eggs thrown in sometimes. This is actually a mix we make weekly for our 2 dogs. We add it into their kibble at every meal. This dog is not starving.

Yet every freaking morning she is up as early as 3am and maybe as late as 4am. The moment she sees me move, even a little, she is in my face. Jumping off the bed, going to the door, and ready to eat. My husband wakes up at 5am for work and I would normally get up at 530am after he leaves and take care of the dogs. Her waking me up so early is ruining my mornings to an extreme.

It’s a process taking them outside to pee, give them their meds, and making their bowls. It’s not grueling work, but by the time I’m done, I’m wide awake. It’s impossible to go back to sleep and if I try to, then I’m waking up again 10 minutes later because it’s time to get ready for work.

What can I do, if anything, to curb this behavior? Am I doomed to deal with this for the rest of her life? I’m getting about 5 hours of sleep a night, maybe 6 if I’m lucky. For some, that may be enough. For me, it’s torture. I’m falling asleep at work and having to consume more caffeine to stay awake.

Any suggestions? Have you been through a similar situation? What can I do?

On my millionth rewatch of TWD.

I really love the prison arc and I hate the Woodbury parts of it. I’ve seen the show so many times that on this watch through, I’m skipping all the Woodbury bits.

I can’t really put my finger on why other than it annoys me. Back in the day when I was watching the episodes air in real time, I loved all of it. However, nowadays it’s only annoying to me.

Do you feel this way too? Or are there other arcs of the show you have similar feelings about?
