Since a decade or more, we've been seeing Emraan Hashmification of bollydawood. Even now, most films follow this template. U know, kiss scenes, bikini, sex scenes etc. I didn't feel Emraan films were wrong in those times bcz his films didn't release in the garb of being family friendly content. Ppl knew what kind of content would be there in the film before even watching it. Even trailers, posters, titles used to be brazen about it.

And then slowly, bollydawood began importing Emraan films type content into every damn film. Even CBFC morons are to be blamed for this. What was 'A' rated in peak Emraan era, became 'UA' rated later. Since then I felt like USP for these films (post peak Emraan era) was Emraan type scenes but not story, acting in the film. About 100% of the time, I used to feel those scenes added no value to the film other than to bait ppl into watching the film. Even till Emraan era, kiss scenes used to be implied(U could understand it's that scene but it won't be visible). So what changed and why?

And now Aditya makes Dhurandhar. Yalina is a young woman who felt boxed up bcz of her family and goes to pubs to dance in skimpy clothes. She's soo madly in love(lot of lust too) with Hamza. But what does Aditya show us? Skimpy clothes yes, but not vulgar or obscene. Hamza goes to watch films in empty theatres with Yalina, secretly meets Yalina in her bedroom, yet we don't see kiss scenes(only implied). He's not at all a cheap director who would milk these scenes like many directors in post peak Emraan era have been doing. He must've known film would get 'A' certificate for the violence and vulgar language but he chose not to cheapen the film with unnecessary scenes which belong only in films which center around such content
