Feeling forced to cap at the citadel is an extremely bad game mechanic

Literally every clan I've ever been in, there are people who want the clan citadel to be max level, so they guilt-trip other clan members into trying to cap.

Maybe this is controversial, but I play this game because I wat to have fun. Getting horrible exp rates and a mediocre reward while capping is the opposite of fun.

This mechanic makes me just want to give up and play solo forever, which really sucks because I have met a lot of cool people through clans.

Is this guy still just hanging there being tortured?

His name is Aurille, he was one of the corrupt politicians that worked for the pretender king.

I was randomly thinking, and I'm pretty sure we never see him again after he gets tortured in this scene. He was so confident that Reiss would wipe everybody's memories, but clearly that never happened. Did they execute him at some point or was he just chilling during the rumbling?

The online video game community makes me feel like I'm taking crazy pills

It seems like nearly every new game that comes out has a ridiculous amount of people who are vocal about hating it, and I genuinely don't understand it at all. Even some of my favorite Youtubers are jumping on the bandwagon without even playing the games, it makes no sense to me

The most recent example of this for me is Halo: Campaign Evolved. I played through the entire campaign and loved every minute of it. I didn't experience any bugs or graphical issues, the cutscenes look great, the game felt really good, but I had to fully get off the internet for over a week after it came out because the hate for the game was overwhelming. One of my favorite Youtubers played it, and they didn't have any noticeable issues at all. The game looked perfectly normal and was running well, but they were just making the same jokes and insults that everyone else is making. They couldn't even point to a single issue in their game the entire time, it was just random insults.

This happened with Pokémon Legends Z-A and Oblivion Remastered as well, two more games that I played for several hundreds of hours each, and both ran flawlessly for me with zero issues whatsoever, but all of the posts and videos I could find were people complaining for weeks. I even tried Oblivion on PC to see if that was buggy, and it also ran perfectly for me. It makes me think that a few people have issues and that news just spreads like wildfire or something.

I don't let random people online change my opinion on anything, but online discourse used to at least have some truth behind it. Now it just feels like I can't trust a single thing people say about any new media because it's going to get blown out of proportion to such a ridiculous extent.

Pokemon games - What exactly is considering cheating or "against the spirit" of achievements?

Obviously I know that using PKHex or Cheat Engine is cheating, that isn't what I'm asking, let me give some examples

Would trading Pokemon between games be considered cheating? This would be handy for clearing post games in FR and then again in LG for example, or doing contests in various games. Just level up a Pokemon and get them contest ready and then trade them between all the games

What about trading a Pokemon holding a useful TM? I could trade myself ice beam on my level 5 Squirtle theoretically, would that be against the spirit of RA?

These are all hypotheticals and I'm not sure if they are written down anywhere, which is why I wanted to ask. It might be possible that RA can't tell if you've done this anyways, I just don't want to accidentally get banned from the leaderboards over something silly. Thanks for reading

Transmutation and Necromancy materials - Guesses?

I know we will be getting a list for what is/isn't able to be transmuted, I'm more curious on everybody's thoughts before we get concrete answers

I'm very curious if we will be able to transmute:

  • Lesser ink -> greater/powerful
  • Lesser ensouled bars/cloth -> greater
  • Pure ess -> impure ess

One reason I'm thinking it might not work for some (or all) of these is that it would really devalue the Crystal Grace relic, which gives 200% mult runes and makes glyphs not require any ink. Neither of those are as useful as effectively having infinite ink and materials, so the only use for rituals would be exp and ectoplasm at that point (assuming we start with 30k or 35k souls already)

I know Crystal Grace also makes Runecrafting a cakewalk, and we don't actually know which tier either of these relics will be, so maybe none of this will even matter in the future lol

Why can you get level 88 artefacts from the level 82 spot at Moonrise?

I don’t think any other archaeology locations are like this, doesn’t that seem kind of off?

How many Alolan Pokemon can you get per hour from the NPCs?

I am currently shiny hunting Alolan Rattata in Ultra Sun. I was thinking about catching 100 or so Rattata in LGE and then going to the NPC so I can get Alolan Rattatas in batches of 100, then soft resetting until I get a shiny, but I'm not sure which would be faster.

I know Google AI is famously bad, but I can't seem to find any other info on how many of these you can do per hour. The AI claims you can do 8 per minute, which comes out to 500 per hour. Is that really true? It seems extremely high, but I have nothing to base it on

Does anybody have info on how many of these you can do per hour? (sorry I can't say the T-word or my post will get flagged, even though it's with NPCs)

Did anybody else notice that Freiren has a surprising amount of, uh... feet scenes

Even toward the half-way point of season 1 there were a ton of scenes with feet that are drawn with a surprising amount of detail. I kind of just shrugged it off and tried not to pay much attention to it, but now that I'm watching season 2 I feel like it's impossible for me not to notice.

The scenes with Serie kind of started it, but there are tons of scenes with other women's feet in the anime as well. There are multiple scenes where Frieren and Fern are bathing or in a hot spring, or scenes where Frieren just woke up and Fern is helping her get ready, and of course they are barefoot and not even trying to hide that fact. Every time Flamme is shown (except maybe when she's old) she is showing her feet... Practically every episode that doesn't have a big fight has some scenes like this

This post isn't a complaint or anything, just an unavoidable observation that I've made while watching the anime. I've probably watched 200 anime in my life, and I've never seen so many feet in my life.

I feel like I'm going crazy and I will never be able to unsee it

Drivers getting visibly angry when being passed on the highway

This is something I genuinely don't even understand.

The highway I drive to work is 65 MPH. I usually set my cruise control to 70. People pass me every day, I couldn't care less. I set my cruise control at 70, so as long as I'm driving 70 and nobody is forcing me to slow down, I'm having a good time.

Some people in front of me will be driving slightly slower, maybe 65 or 68 for example. Doesn't bother me, so I just pass them while still going 70. Completely legal, I'm not revving my engine or glaring at them or anything dumb like that, literally just coasting like I have been the entire time except now I'm in the left lane.

The amount of people that decide to speed up so I can't pass them is just stupid. Some of them have even flipped me off and revved their engine as if they are trying to make some point to me. If you have been driving 67 for some time now, why are you upset that I'm passing you? It doesn't even affect you at all, you're just making yourself look immature because you're butthurt somebody is driving 3 MPH faster than you. Why?

Archaeology storage for new accounts is frustrating

I'm currently 78 Arch on my new HCIM. I just started working on the Daemonheim Digsite. I have purchased every available storage upgrade possible for my level, the next upgrade requires Professor rank.

Somehow, I don't have enough storage for two materials, and I can see another three materials in the skill guide I haven't unlocked yet, which means I will have to bank it all until I hit level 90 I guess? That's 3.6 million experience training until I can just put them in the storage with the rest of the materials.

That seems like an oversight, doesn't it? That's 4x my total Arch exp until the material storage is fully useful again

Subreddit to ask NSFW questions

I know about r/NoStupidQuestions and r/questions for example, but I don't know if those communities react well to NSFW questions or if they are even allowed.

Specifically, I want to ask questions about firsthand experiences with prostitution.

Do you think the new bundles will have a new set of achievements/trophies?

I got every achievement in 3, BBS, and 2.5 HD for Xbox, and I think it would be a ton of fun if I could do that again for each of these new remasters. Do we have any idea if these will use those same achievements or if they will get unique sets? I’m not sure how it has historically worked on PlayStation

Is it explained why Ymir’s pure titan doesn’t look like her at all?

Every human we see get turned into a pure titan are generally recognizable still after they transform. Eren recognized his dad’s first wife, we recognize the bearded man who ate Eren in s1, Conny recognizes his mother, etc. The only exception I can think of is Rod Reiss, but his face is sanded off so maybe he does and we just can’t tell anymore.

Of course once they eat a shifter, their appearance changes to fit the shifter.

This is true for every character in the show except for Ymir. Her pure titan doesn’t look anything like her in the slightest, and when she eats the Jaw Titan her appearance still doesn’t change at all. She just kinda looks like a goblin the entire time. No brown eyes or brown hair or anything that resembles her human self.

Why is that?

“Who’s going to take care of you when you’re older if you don’t have kids?”

I’m 32. I’ve had a lot of conversations with a lot of people about not wanting to have kids. I’m not here to argue my point of view or anything like that, but every single conversation about it goes the same way.

“If you don’t have kids, then who is going to take care of you when you get older?”

Then I always say back, “If my primary reason for having kids is just so somebody can take care of me, then I refuse.”

Then they always start backtracking, “Oh well yeah obviously loving and nurturing your children is more important…” etc

Well if that’s the most important reason for having children, and you’re trying to convince a stranger that they should do it, why didn’t you say the “most important” reason first? Clearly you think having a free nurse in 50 years is more important, that’s why you said it first. It was the very first thing that came to your mind.

This isn’t a one-off thing. I’ve had this exact same conversation almost verbatim with dozens of people. Not a single one of them has tried to convince me to have children by saying, “Don’t you want to be apart of something bigger than yourself?” Or “don’t you want to show your own child how amazing the world can be?”

Nope, it’s always “don’t you want free labor once your kid grows up?” And I absolutely hate it to my core

People who vastly underestimate how much $1 million is

This is something I’ve seen with a lot of younger people, especially young men, where they seem to think one day they will just get promoted or get a lucky job and be making a million dollars per year. So let’s do some quick math.

In the US, the average work week is 40 hours, and there are 52 weeks in a year. So that’s 2,080 working hours per year.

So $1,000,000 / 2,080 hours = $480.76/hour. You are never going to just get lucky enough to be making almost $500/hour unless you are a CEO, an A-tier actor, an incredible athlete, or 0.1% of influencers pretty much. Even making six figures is $50/hour, which is a lot of money in most places in the US.

Noob question: Is Guthix staff spec still really good?

I made a new HCIM, the first new account I’ve made in years. I remember on my last Ironman I used the Guthix staff spec from Mage Arena constantly, all the way to 80 magic.

Is it still really good or does it really matter which staff/cape I choose? Zammy would be better for being a GWD1 item but I would rather have Guthix if it’s a lot better DPS

Help with early game combat training, am I missing something?

On oldschool, the early game combat meta is basically just do Waterfall and maybe some other quests, get an adamant weapon, then go to sand crabs or the Gemstone crab immediately. You can fully AFK crabs and get to 60s-70s combat stats easily while clicking once every 5 mins.

Now, I haven’t made a new RS3 character in a long time, but it sounded fun so I made a HCIM. I know they nerfed a lot of combat exp recently, but training it just feels horrible, which is why I think maybe I’m missing something.

Every guide I find is either outdated or glosses over early game like it’s no big deal, but I did a bunch of quests and now my combat stats are currently in the 40s and I feel like I’m slamming my head into a brick wall training it.

So the guides I read pretty much all say lumby catacombs, abyss, shattered worlds, or slayer. I’ll tell you right off the bat that abyss is impossible until probably t60 or even t70 gear, I eat a whole inv of food in a matter of minutes in adamant armor. Shattered worlds is pretty much the same, low levels are too easy and bad exp and the higher levels are unsustainable. Lumby Catacombs is really slow, I feel like I’m too high level for it maybe, and slayer is also awful because it’s such a low level. My last slayer task was 80-ish ice giants and it took me 4 trips to even finish the task, horrible exp/hr obviously.

I know late game combat has a ton of really nice options. Bossing in general is pretty good exp, AFK abyssal demons or ghouls, and slayer are all amazing in the later game. Am I just stuck dealing with this for dozens of hours until then?

Paying to make OF vids is not considered prostitution?

This is something I’ve seen in several TikToks and other platforms.

The man makes an OnlyFans page. They find a woman, could be strangers, friends, models, whatever. They pay the women to have sex on camera and then post it to the OF page. Then start over, find another woman.

I’m confused how this isn’t considered prostitution, or maybe it is and they just aren’t being prosecuted for it. I’ve even seen some men act like it’s some kind of cheat code to skirt prostitution laws.
