Hello everyone,
I've been looking for an answer online, but was only left more unsure about this.
So yesterday, I got a moderately big tattoo on my right shoulder blade. A small part extends to my shoulder.
(It's actually a cover-up of a touch-up of a cover-up of a laser removal of a shitty and keloid scarred tattoo that I got at 16. So as you can see, there's a long history of me being ashamed of my embarrassing tattoo and now I've finally found an amazing artist that specializes in cover-ups and actually knows what he's doing. Maybe after 20 years, I'll finally be able to wear a bathing suit or spaghetti strap tops again!)
Now I was wondering... after how many weeks it is truly safe to go on a hike again (6-10 hrs)? I'm talking mountains and sunshine in this current heatwave in Europe.
Due to the placement, there's going to be some backpack strap friction where the tattoo is located.
I was also wondering if it would possibly be helpful to wear tattoo armour sheets to prevent friction and UV light going through my T-shirt on a hike.
The second and final appointment for the next while is on September 21st. Am I being naive to think that I could go hiking again by mid-September before the 2nd appointment?
Even though I would miss the outdoors, my priority is obviously my tattoo healing as best as possible.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
She was so friendly!
Das Ergebnis des Prozesses: Mutwillige Tötung des Katers konnte nicht nachgewiesen werden, alle Angeklagten freigesprochen.
Die hatten heute scheinbar eine Party am Wegrand.
I also took home two ticks, one on my leg and one on my hip, respectively. 💀 Does that count as PeopleHoldingArachnids?
Not exactly sure what's going on here, but I appreciate our little garden friends
The silliest, most orange goober I've ever met.
Thanks in advance :)

First buddy: chalkhill blue decided to hang out on my hand/arms for like ten minutes. I would like to think it's because we're friends, but I suspect it was because of salty hiking sweat...
Second buddy: dark bush-cricket. I assume it's a male? Anyway, they decided to hop away at first only to turn around and jump on my hand. Tsundere cricket ❤️
Third buddy: spring dor beetle just being cute and round.
Meet these guys on a hike. Final pic: magnificent snoot!
Auf dem Heimweg von der Arbeit einen Umweg am Waldrand entlang zu machen lohnt sich. ❤️
