What is life like living in this area of the denver metro?

I’m from central maryland and I plan to either move to denver (or seattle as a second option) in a few years, is there any downsides or dislikes (can be a transplant or natives experience) to denver that people arent told about when moving here?

Names for the zip codes of Howard County

These names are based off of schools, roads, or CDP names (like ones that appear on apple and google maps), e.g 21784 (saturated chartreuse) is named after Butterfly Ct, 21046 (gray) is named after Hammond High School.

I didn’t give the zip codes names like “East Elicott City” (for Patapsco and Ilchester) or West Columbia (for Wilde Lake) because I wanted to be more specific with the names. North Laurel is an outlier because theres other zip codes that map to the other Laurels, these are not official US postal office reccomended names.

Possible Maryland Hackers Unite victim

Be aware that HCPSS students are starting to get hacked on instagram, the known hacker at this time is a reservoir high school student who has hacked RHS accounts and plans to hack AHS accounts next.

Feedback on my color palette system

My color names are required to be one word but also not have any "actual words" in them, however color names like "Gold" may be an exception if you count it as an "actual word"

Some colors are given alternative names for their symbols, grayscale colors are considered tertiary.

Flag of Crabbalachia

This flag has been made partially for the reason to lower aggressiveness between Maryland and Vermont and to help pipe down the realists. (the people saying maryland lost and telling them to get over it)

If anythings truly neutral, Crabbalachia is the result of a tie.

Idaho Redesign im reusing for the flag contest (read description before commenting)

Now, before everyone starts commenting to ask why there is a sun of may on this flag, the original reason I added it was for "aurafarming" (at the time of the flags creation), I should add I was reccomended by u/low_quality_posts to post this redesign here for Idaho this week, so take this not too seriously but also dont treat it like a complete joke either, have nuance and balance.

The mustangs are added alongside the blue, orange, and white colors to represent the Boise State Broncos, and the eyelazers are inspired from the "Laser Kiwi flag" of New Zealand.

Bouvel/Scoricornic script

This script uses a base 16 system alongside 48 letters, totalling in 64 characters total. I’m still working on making the grammar symbols though.

Not all letters have their symbols related to another group although they may seem so.

Top 32: Consonants Middle 16: Vowels Bottom 16: Numbers

Magenta: Consonants (32) Yellow: Vowels (16) Green: Numbers (Base 16) Blue: IPA pronounciation Purple: Pure-Latin Transcription Orange: Multiscript Transcription

yes this is based off of the scripts seen in the splatoon franchise

Maryland Emergency Meeting

Hello people of Mary’s land.

As you know, We have recently just absorbed Pennsylvania, a win, but now we have a new threat, the vermonster.

So what can we do?, get all your marylander friends to support us, we must fight strong, under one land, for our great Mary.

If the vermonster eats us, these are some of the things that could happen!

We lose our beautiful, advantaged, and great county system, and it gets replaced with townships.

We will be forced to eat yucky slippery syrup, and we will lose our old bay.

Baltimore and Annapolis will no longer be the great capitals, it will be “Montpelier”

We must fight against this new england propaganda, because who are we?

WE. ARE. MARYLAND.

Top 3 threats as of 05/18/2026

  1. Vermonster
  2. Nueva Mexico
  3. Megasota

Asking for feedback/criticism on my artstyle

I use google drawings and I get my assets from Traceable Heraldic Art, which I then recolor on JS paint, sometimes polylining them into actual shapes (turning them into vectors) if I want to give them gradients, I've recently made my own artstyle alongside custom tinctures and started making arms using such.

Below is (some of) the tinctures I've created for myself, although I mostly only use the eight I personally consider basic and murrey.

1 has a small error which I'm still working on fixing.
