How did you all decide on the color of your Abys?

How did you all decide on the color of your Abys?

The Aby pictured above is not mine. I do not take credit for the image.

My breeder has been nothing but wonderful and kind. They currently have every color of Aby available in a litter, which I'm due to reserve from soon, and I cannot for the LIFE of me seem to commit to a final pick.

I wanted an Aby for two things: friendliness (for meeting friends and family) and activity level (for an outdoor explorer buddy - with a tracker, harness, and chip). I can't meet any of the litter personally beforehand, as it's a multi-state drive...

..and due to that, I feel a little stuck. Obviously my love is unconditional even if this cat turns out to be a sleepy antisocial kitty, but my breeder suggested a pick of the litter based on those two traits (a fawn). I'm tempted to listen to their wisdom because they've raised litters for years.

Before I talked with my breeder personally, my heart was SET - lock and key - on a blue, only a blue. Then my breeder sent me pictures, and now I'm seemingly in love with ALL of them. How does that happen?? How are all of the babies so cute??

Do any of you have a "hates everyone but me" cat or a "lazy" Aby / one that hates going outside? How much do individual personalities matter in this breed? How much are their breeds' traits built-in?

Lastly.. could you all post pictures of your adult Abys in the comments? I'm only seeing this litter as kittens, and I have no idea how they'll look as adults! I hope these questions don't sound ridiculous.

Stories 3 AUDIO ISSUE - no spoilers

Hi everyone! I'm trying to find out if anyone else is experiencing the same issues that I and one other person are both having.

I've played Stories 3 for about 50 hours now, and have loved every minute of the game. However, about 49 hours in, I discovered a strange audio issue that's honestly taking away a ton of my fun in the game.

I've already tested countless things with the help of Capcom support and I have played other games / media with my current headset and none of those games, videos, movies etc ever had any issues playing audio. I have no reason to believe it's my headset, thus this thread.

Near the Canalta Timberland waterfalls, does anyone start to experience an audio "cut-out" every few seconds? The audio will play normally, pause, reset itself, and start playing again, especially while turning the camera. It's as if someone is covering your ears and then uncovering them, and doing the same a few seconds later. If I go into a fight with a monster, this problem stops happening immediately, and all music plays normally again.

This issue also persists if I leave and head into the later game areas or towns.

On top of the resetting audio, I often hear crackling, pops, or almost a "doubled" sound effect, like a second track of the exact same area theme, monstie roar, etc is playing overtop the original.

Trying to record this issue, I found out that the audio "resets" DON'T get picked up through OBS, but that the crackling audio DOES come up in recordings.

Has ANYONE experienced something similar? If so, can you share your experiences? I'm trying to put together more of a resource for Capcom support if possible. Thank y'all!

Help me find a litter that doesn't get EVERYWHERE. Searching for a new litter.

Hi fellas! I'm currently in the process with a new kitten who will be coming home with me soon. I'm a longtime pet parent and multi-time cat owner, so I'm no stranger to litter. However, I did invest in a Litter Robot not too long ago, as my partner's cat got litter quite literally on every floor, crevice and corner of our home every time she used the box (which didn't really help). On top of that, the clay litters do kick up a metric ton of dust, and it's starting to take a small but noticeable effect on my health.

I desperately want to keep litter off the floors with the kitten we're bringing home now, so I'm looking for ultra low tracking litters. I'm leaning far into pellet based litters over clay based ones. Odor control is still important to me, but I'm looking for the lowest of low tracking.

I've been looking at Tidy Cats' Breeze Zeolite. Can anyone who owns this litter - and a Litter Robot, by chance - give me any thoughts on the effectiveness for odor and tracking?

Do pellet based litters even work with automatic boxes like the Litter Robot, or do they cause issues with the self cleaning?

I've always used clay litters, so I'd appreciate any advice!

Photo credit belongs to Abytastic and the Aby is not mine!

Hi there folks. This is a really long shot, and I apologize if this isn't the right place or if posts like these aren't allowed. (Mods, if that's the case, feel free to take this down and/or DM me - I'll have it sorted!)

Does anyone know of any Abyssinian breeders near or located in Ohio? I am willing to travel to another state nearby, especially if the price is a tad lower - but that isn't to say that I'm looking for a cheap backyard breeder. I have no intentions of breeding or showcasing an Aby, and I just want a family pet to snuggle, carry on my shoulder, and bring on small woodland adventures.

I've done a good amount of my own research and I'm well aware of the border collie energy, health issues like weak gums, raw diet need, and much more. I am always willing to learn more, but I believe I know enough to bring home a buddy. I've been searching all over, and most breeders seem to be located in NY or CA, with one in particular in Canada.

Help a brother out?
