Supppp, I've been getting in to the above and since my husband is away for another 2 months, looking for new friends to make and game with!

I've been looking around getting a sense of local/mid firms around me and wondered how did folks find their firm.

Did you go for Magic circle? Did you apply via linkedin and get in? Maybe headhunted? Share your source? :')

I'm going into my third year of law school, and I want to get some hands-on experience in the field, I'm a mature student (40) and I've got over 20 years across operations, customer service manager, rights management.

I've worked across, gaming, entertainment, ecommerce, compliance and GDPR and now I'm actually getting ready to wrap up my law degree and I'm hungry.. actually, I'm starving to get to work to cut my teeth and grind them down to little nubs.

I've been looking and checking and all the transferable skills (not to mention I've got the interpersonal skills of an angel) I never complain about working late and I'm just the overly supportive person who will want nothing more than to see someone succeed (and hopefully pay me back in kind with my career progression)

I'm based in Doncaster (but easily get into Leeds and Sheffield) reason for remote/flexibility is when my third year starts, I want to sit in class working, while listening to lectures and still chip away at my inbox and in the evenings carry on working across areas and sectors - if its more Leeds side I would just sit in the office, crack on and get to work or catch up with whoever I'm under until either class and continue to work.

If you know of anything or you're looking to fill a role (I'm cheap-ish) and would love to connect - maybe you can help me or chat with me about my cv and how I can better align my position.

TLDR; Law student wanting to get into a firm, work my little bum off and get on the career path, and work more than any other assistant/junior paralegal should be allowed too.

I asked on LinkedIn - but i guess it got lost between all the self-promotional bullshittery that comes with the platform.

but, e-discovery is a desirable/needed experience on most jobs - but we're not getting any exposure and there are no free training courses to get a solid foundation on it to give us at least a step in to getting the job posting.

I've got a level 50 Alt- Guardian - but for the life in me I can't seem to find the "fun" in it at all.

mesmer/ main hand pistol

1: a triple shot, applys random condition effects, poison,burning,torment, confusion in stacks of three per bullet

2: clone: summoned 2 illusions that mirror your next ability. Pressing the ability again will switch you with another clone (conjunction with1/ applys additional stacks 1 each) and with 2 applys bigger AoE)

3: aoe: portal above and rain down bullets applying conditions

I didn't want to name-name them something thematic but maybe youre more creative than mine but I'd love.to duel pistol on a Mesmer :p

If you could rewrite Alien 3, which direction would you take it.

I actually enjoy alien 3 when I'm in a fixated daze, but I do love the conversation around it as it opens up a lot of potential missing details that you can fit in.. mainly like how the egg(s) got on board.

Not trying to cause controversy.. but what is a personal pet peeve in game.

Mine is - I can't customize my spell effects - maybe I wanna have Yellow/red Mesmer spells, so I don't have to keep getting purple dyes out for my fashion.

With a ship as sophisticated as the sulaco ship is, it appears massive.

What if after the marines depart, a second science team wake up and go straight to the hive ship co-ordinates, that newts parents are at and there is a whole sulaco ship escapade of them getting picked off by their usual human error selves and results in the egg being left unattended after Ripley, Hicks, Newt and Bishop go into stasis.

40M - homosexual (if you're worried about like older male dirtbags) enjoying guild wars 2 again after a break would love to play with others and chat, nice and chill have a laugh. Do wardrobe or bosses etc just casual no pressure just nice to hang.

So, had to come off, due too expensive, it's my silly season of birthdays and everything else happening so had to cancel my subscription.

I'm just about to enter my third and final undergrad law degree year and wanted to connect with fellow mature students past and present, about how you got on after you graduated.

I'll be graduating at 42, and honestly its been the best thing I could have done, getting my law degree is something that I've wanted for a very long time but just didn't have the opportunity to pursue to family/life until now.

Did you go barrister/Solicitor route?
Did you stay in academia or leave it at LLB?
What was your biggest gripe working with really young students?
How did you get on with training contracts/Pupilages?

Would love to know your stories and biggest challenges after the degree too.

its driving me crazy 4-5 days of this sound in my head around this song I wrote at 3am, and I can't figure a way to replicate it
