I would like to build one „definitive“ Gamecube. I am very experienced with modding consoles (GBA, Switch, SNES,…) but havent worked on a Gamecube yet.
I did some digging, and found these mods were I thought it would make the console „definitive“:
Solderless Picoloader
Bitfunx replacement shell
Now for HDMI I found either a PCB, or „just a cable“ which one should I go with?
Also which usb C for power should I go with? The „cable“ route? Or should I replace the plug?

Like I said, the soldering etc shouldnt be an issue, so even if the mod is more advanced I think I can do it.
Is there any other mods missing?

For example, Digimon and Pokemon have like 8 „different shows“ though its all the same tv show. Is there a way to just have all 26 seasons of Pokemon to be in one listing, instead of having to spread it over the series Advanced Generation, Diamon &Pearl and so one?

I started using the Stingray client a couple weeks ago, and I really like it.
It is quite early in development compared to some other clients, so there is actually a lot of things that can still be done.
I do have a degree in Software Development, though I havent really done any swift development. I couldnt find a discord server or similar, where I could ask how I can best get started helping there. Is there a way to get in touch with the developer?

I am looking to get a diode laser. I mostly cut some playwood (usually up to around 5mm, but would be great if I can cut around 10mm), and do some engraving on cutting boards. I would like to cut some leather (veg tan 2mm) as well.

I found the longer B1 36W and the Laser Tree K1 Pro 30W.

The Longer is a lot cheaper, but I am unsure if there is big differences. Or maybe there is even a better option than these two?

I did have a K40 laser until recently, but I sold it, because I couldnt be bothered any more with all the setup and maintanence.

Vor Versand getestet. Alles lief gut. Jetzt sind sie angekommen und es wird gesagt Manche Knöpfen täten gar nicht, einer geht immer aus und der Ton würde bei einem spinnen.

Ich hab um das ganze abzuschließen gesagt ich kann 75€ runtergehen (bei 700€ schon ne ganze Stange Geld) oder sie sollen die drei Geräte zurückschicken. Aber die beharren darauf dass sie den einen ja behalten wollen, aber mit Discount (75€ nur für den einen). Und nur die andern beiden zurückschicken. Das ist aber viel zu viel Discount für den einen.

Sie sagen jetzt sie würden dann halt einen Paypal Fall aufmachen. Das kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, da Paypal ihnen ja auch nur sagt sie sollen die Sachen zurückschicken und kriegen ihr Geld, oder sehe ich da was falsch?

Was habe ich hier zu erwarten? Ich weiß Paypal entscheidet gerne (auch entgegen deutschem Recht) für die Käufer. Wäre mir in dem Fall aber auch recht, wenn ich meine Geräte wieder kriege.

Muss ich die Rückgabe überhaupt akzeptieren? Ich habe nach bestem wissen alles angegeben (detailliert Fotos gemacht) und habe beim Testen auch keine Mängel feststellen können. Ich weiß dass Paypal da aber oft nicht drauf achtet.

I am trying to set up tinyMediaManager to be able to scan my Jellyfin library. However I am always getting the error "Error opening directory /media/Filme: Permission denied".

The ACL for the Jellyfin dataset looks like this:

Why can't I access the files? Just in case someone is asking, the User and Group ID for the app is 568.

Has anyone here bought the Formbot kit? Is it any good? I really liked the kit for my Voron 2.4, the only issue I had was that the instructions where a bit lacking here and there, but the quality really was good. Is it the same for the BoxTurtle kit? I know I need to install a filament cutter on my toolhead, will I easily be able to do that, with the „stock formbot configuration“? Or do I have to reprint most of the toolhead?
