I loved this version much more. It was my introduction to Sam Witwer. Even though he does great things, I wish they would have given him more. I think he would have made an awesome live action Batman.

I was asked to make a post about this one. I honestly didn't because I felt since it wasn't official merch, that it would be disrespectful to Matt. If it is, please let me know.

I went to a custom shop on Etsy to have this made. It was only $20 and is made of metal. I attached the order specifics (font, color) I made and through a few messages had the final result. If you want, you can just take the mock up and send it to them or have it customized either way you want! For the skulls, I just took a pick of the book and rearranged them to be horizontal. I'll include those too.

I don't think there's any author that would ever reclaim the magic that Matt poured into this series. This used to be a very old show which he described to a T.

I got this on May 23rd. I washed it several times a day and applied "Pro tattoo balm" brand. Days at work I washed five times a day using dial gold. On day four I switched over to Aveeno unscented. I have eight other tattoos that never acted this way. There's some light red spots around the ribbon that are kind of tender. Never got itchy yet. The artist said to put a ton of A&d and seal it but I felt that was a bad idea. His philosophy of aftercare is to 100% let it air out and wash and balm.
