Don't knock kale it keeps it's structural integrity when blanched. I do it in salt water to compliment the potato.
## **1980 Honda Interstate — 83,386 KM of Bad Decisions & Loud Ideas**
1980 Honda Interstate bobber project.
83,386 km.
Engine has been replaced.
Carbs need work.
Currently not running, but neither am I before
coffee.
This old beast has all the ingredients for an absolutely filthy vintage bobber build.
Big old Honda touring bike stripped down into something that looks like it smokes indoors and ignores warning labels.
Perfect project for someone who:
* owns more wrenches than matching socks
* thinks carb rebuilds are “therapy”
* wants an old-school bike with attitude
* says “I can fix it” with dangerous confidence
Bike is project status and sold as-is, but the vision is there.
Would make an unreal rat bike, bobber, bar hopper, or the coolest thing parked outside a dive bar at midnight.
$2000 OBO.
Trades considered for other questionable financial decisions.
Yes, the model in the photos is me.
No, I do not come with the bike.
My emotional baggage alone exceeds the payload rating.
If there’s enough interest, I may finally release the “Best of Marketplace” charity calendar:
12 months of awkward poses, motorcycles, lawn equipment, project vehicles, and aggressively average male modelling.
Proceeds go to charity… or carb cleaner and poor coping mechanisms.
Message me before I regain motivation and accidentally keep it.
I was 15 in 2005. I always did my own thing, my parents were pretty cultured and into niche * intellectual* music, art, etc - they are both very judgemental. I recall at the time rebelling against that by having my own taste and interests.

I didn't even think of trying to be nicer looking since that's not what I was pushing back on.

I was much older (23?), when I grew my hair out and realized that I have more to work with than I thought. 😂
