Bourbonese Qualk. Okay this is really different. Highly experimental stuff. I hadn’t heard them until yesterday. Thanks to all again for introducing me to some of these. What’s your experience with them?
Die Form. I’m intrigued by these guys. Never heard of them before yesterday. thanks to this group I started listening to this album. Unreal stuff. I would love to hear all your opinions on them. This highly experimental world agrees with me thanks 🙏
Peg Leg Howell was born March 5th 1888. One of the first pre war blues men from Atlanta to be recorded. Also one of the first to make a race record. Just got into him recently. Look for a song called “Away From Home” A classic all it’s own
St Louis Cardinals vs Cleveland Browns on December 6th 1964 at old Busch stadium. 31,585 braved 8 degree weather to watch the Cardinals beat the eventual champion Browns 28-19. Too cold for me no thanks
Baker Bowl, Philadelphia Dec 19, 1933. Giants HOF RB Ken Strong runs vs the Eagles defense. The Eagles took a 14-13 4th quarter lead on a 61 yard TD by Swede Hanson. The Giants would stun the Eagles & 8,000 fans with a 60 yard TD pass from QB Harry Newman to WR Kink Richards for a 20-14 win
Lil McClintock was a street performer in South Carolina. Born June 5th 1886. Died somewhere close to 1940. Not much is known about him except the handful of sides he recorded for Colombia in 1930-31. He is a must listen especially the song “Mother Called Her Child To Her Dying Bed”
Hello all. I would love to have this photo identified if possible. Looks like Clara Bow but I would like to know what movie this is from. “It” doesn’t have her in a scene with a towel and straw behind her. Any help would be appreciated
