My Admiral joint two car and home insurance policy needs renewing but just wondering if there are better companies. TBH I’ve never claimed and they might be fine but I was just wondering if people had preferred insurance companies they use.
I’ve been trying to break in my 9111 after getting blisters on my heels. Thick Darn Tough socks have been purchased still with some minor heel slip. Laces have been tidied to prevent slippage as well.
Inspired by another post I put some leather balm on the inside heel and gave it a good rub and then left the lint free cloth on it with some extra balm and applied the clamps.
Lets see what happens 😂
These are my first Red Wings and read lots about breaking in. Should I buy some me Darn Tough socks? Wear them around the house? All tips gratefully received!

Daughter had passed her test but it has left a mark on the paintwork. I’ve given it a clean with some Halfords snow foam and noticed it.
Is there something I can use? Maybe some proper shampoo instead of foam initial wash stuff?

A book where a person/people watch other people and events that happen around them. Not in any voyeuristic manner.
They are comfortable in their lives. Maybe they have a routine but see people doing things, see things happening as they go about their lives just learning and absorbing things around them.

Having had enough of the hot weather I’ve decide to buy proper air conditioning.
I have had 2 quotes and gone with the smaller company and cheaper price.
It will be 2 outside units and 5 internal ones. Msz-ay15 for 3 of the rooms and Msz-ay35 for the other 2.
The quote is £8600 and then electrician costs on top.

I’m about to bite the bullet on a new XDR for my Mac Studio M2 Ultra and came across this post.

There are some suggestions new macOS releases and forward releases should have fixed the problems but wanted to check in because I don’t want to spend a LOT of money for it to not work on my machine even if the specs say it should work.

I've been watching all the threads about LG 5k, MSI 5k coming, Asus 6k, Samsung 6k coming and Apple Studio XDR.
I am a developer and play no games. I was originally going to get the LG 27GM950b but now I'm doubting that choice.
I don't think my machine can power the new Samsung 6k and the MSI one due for Jan 2027 is too long to wait.
What are your thoughts?
