[Homemade] Air Fryer Cake Mix Apple Pie Filling Fritters

Pour one can apple pie filling into a bowl. Cut the apple slices in half. Add one box of yellow cake mix and stir until it comes together into a thick batter. Add extra cinnamon optionally. Drop by big spoonfuls into a parchment lined air fryer and bake at 375 for 15 minutes, turning once about 10 minutes in. Bake until they bake to a darker brown to get crispy bits. Drizzle with an icing made of powdered sugar and a little bit of water.

[Homemade] Strawberry White Chocolate Air fryer Pancakes

These were so simple. I used basic pancake mix batter and two stainless steel baking rings inside the air fryer. And, I topped them with melted strawberry jelly, bottled white chocolate sauce for drinks and whipped cream.

Beware: The arrival of the new home screen layout will make your Roku remote unresponsive and it’s a disaster getting it to work.

I have four Rokus. Each one went into a mysterious unresponsive state after first seeing an internet not connected error. Swapping remote batteries did not work. Finally, had to unplug Roku, power, etc. Then plug back in and reinstall same good batteries over and over again. It was a crap shoot getting each device to come back alive. And eventually, Roku responded again. This happened with all four devices when the new home screen layout arrived at each device. Roku developers should have and could have done much better. And, after all the hassle, we immediately turned off the new features to get the original home screen back.

If your feeder attracts ants, simply attach an ant mote above the feeder and insure that is the only path to the feeder. Sugar ants can’t cross water.

[Homemade] German Chocolate Cake Mix cookies using Pillsbury’s original recipe

Online recipes have morphed into using 1/2 cup of oil. This is not the original way and does not produce the same perfect cookie with cracked tops. Use 1/3 cup oil with the standard two eggs and you will get a crisp on the outside chewy on the inside and a cracked top cookie.

Today I learned that the bagel setting on a toaster only toasts one side of the bread making fantastic soft on the inside, crisp on the outside sandwiches using regular sandwich bread! I’m still gleaming with amazement.
