At fault drivers insurance company sent me a check. Is it ok to deposit?

I was involved in a minor fender bender. Guy rear ended my truck at low speed. Totaled his little car ( air bags deployed). My receiver hitch and rear bumper mounted spare tire took most of the impact.

Other driver’s insurance company sent me a check for just over $1000 which I think is fair. My truck is older and probably worth about $10k before the accident and probably worth about the same after. I haven’t had it looked at professionally but it seems fine to me. Should I deposit the check or would doing so forfeit any rights to a future claim should I find out the frame is bent or whatever?

Trying to find information on these aftermarket seat brackets for late 1990’s Chevy Suburban used by Choo Choo Customs

These brackets were used by Choo Choo Customs to put captains chars into the 2nd row of late 90’s Chevy and GMC custom conversions. I’m looking specifically for any information I can find including how to mount them because they don’t line up with existing holes like I would have expected a custom bracket to. Any help is greatly appreciated

Should I be cutting the dead growth away on these hydrangeas? No idea what variety it is

Bought this house last summer and I assume these were freshly planted because of the size. Had a bunch of projects and landscaping kinda went to back burner. Should I cut away the dead stuff? If so should I do now or wait at this point? It already looks kinda sad so I’m not too worried about doing any harm
