G2s in the build.

Box came messed up smh. thanks amazon. but fans were intact. added the 5mm spacer to reduce turbulence further. these bad boys are dead quiet and run them at 70% under full load. i have a noisey HVAC unit and when i game it kicks on so i can barley hear the system over. Just waiting for my wired WVP 2 to arrive and then mess around with its placement so i have it visible, probably to the left of PSU. been learning CAD/Fusion and with my 3D scanner thinking about making some kind of bracket so it can mount securely. so much fun in store!!

is this a mistake on ASUS website?

i managed to find a decent deal on a used model with few hours. upon further reading into the features (after purchasing) its claiming to have a Tandem OLED panel? i got this as a secondary monitor to my 39in 5K2K LG which does have a tandem OLED Panel. curious if anyone can confirm if this is true or is the website incorrect. regardless i’m excited to get it for a steal (650$).

scalpers… but i needed them to complete my build.

each vented glass panels costs more than a T1 on the scalper market 😭 ashamed but just happy i got my build looking how i wanted it to. the GPU thermals did improve by 2C (74 max to 72 max in 5K gaming)

Specs:
5090FE
9950X3D (-30 PBO)
Gskill Flare X5 64Gb 6000mhz CL30
6TB total in NVME storage
Asus ROG X870-I
SF1000 3.1 ATX

Monitor are the new Tandem OLED 5K2K 39GX950B-B and Corsair Xeneon Edge
Keyboard is Whooting 80HE
Mouse is Swiftpoint Z2

previously i was running two LG 32in 4K dual mode but once i saw this bad boy i knew i had to have it. sold them both for 500 with one only having 167 hours.

just waiting for Noctua Chromax G2s in 120mm and the Swiftpoint Z3 to release so i can stop burning money on my set up.

printed these cable management routes and it made the back of the printer so much nicer. Filament track switch was vertically mounted and im still trying to mess around with it and see what measureable improvement to my work flow it provides. just waiting for my TPU feed assist from ali express so i can start printing.
