After months of consideration I started dutasteride today.

I’ve been on finasteride and min since 2020. I had amazing results and pretty much stopped my hairloss. My thinning crown filled in and my hairloss stopped. However after 6 years I feel like it’s not working as well as it used to. After months of consideration I have decided to start dut. Hoping the extra DHT suppression will get me back on track. I’m just going straight over to dut with no transition period. Wish me luck balding brothers. I hope I haven’t made a mistake. (Pics below)

Taxi driver cheating the meter

I had a taxi driver constantly tap the gas pedal when we were driving to increase the meter reading. Instead of putting his foot on the pedal and applying pressure he kept taping it then breaking and taping and breaking. It was very unusual behaviour and I can’t see any other reason to do it. I took his details and have contacted the taxi company. Taxitelefona was the company.

S1ii froze during video recording during a wedding.

Anyone had any issues with the s1ii freezing up in video mode? I was shooting a very important video last week and when I hit the record button to stop the recording it didn’t stop. The camera wouldn’t even turn off. I was only able to recover half of the 40 minute file using the internal video repair feature. Is this normal with this camera? Done hundreds of shoots on the s5 and S5ii with no issues. This was the second time using this camera and it was bought new. I wasn’t working in a hot climate and both cards were set to dual record and were fast enough. Was shooting in 4k 50p. Thanks.

Amazon drivers of Northern Ireland

Lads when did yous decide as a collective to stop knocking or ringing the bell when you deliver? My delivery experience is just finding a package at my doorstep or seeing the driver sprint past the window to the van. What’s going on? 💁🏼‍♂️

I’ve bit the bullet and ordered Dut.

I’ve been on fin 6+ years. I’ve made the decision to switch. Trying to find out the best way to do it. Cold turkey or gradual introduction.

Has anyone successfully switched from fin to dut and are will to share their experience?

I’ve been on fin 6 years. I think I’d like to switch to dut as I think I’m starting to lose hair again. A lot of posts I read of people who say dut made their hair worse didn’t actually seem to have much success with fin in the first place. Is there anyone who has been on fin for a long time and it’s worked well and then they have switched over to dut and not experienced increased hair loss?

Also is dut safe long term like fin? Thanks

Advice on a what stage to add more shares

I have been buying Alphabet shares since 2021. My average price per share is $139 so I’m currently up $49,000 (167% investment gain)I bought another 5 shares back in March at $274. I know it sounds dumb but because I’m up so much I’m finding it hard to buy more at these prices and I’m waiting on a correction or dip but it doesn’t seem to be happening. For context I’m 35 and plan on holding this for years. Thanks for reading!

I did it! How can I build on this?

Im currently holding alphabet, nvidia and Microsoft and 4k in case in the portfolio. Anyone who has got to 100k got any advice on my next move? Should I move in to ETFs and let it compound? I’m 35 and have been investing for nearly 4 years.

Any advice on how to build on this? I’m 35 and I plan on holding my positions for a long time. I doubled down on my alphabet position when others were dumping it when it had the DOJ case hanging over it. I bought more again when trump announced his tariffs in early 2025. Part of me wants to withdraw it and put in to an etf and I’ll sleep better at night! Just not sure what to do. Googl hit all time highs today. I’m currently up about around £47000 with £4000 cash in this portfolio and smaller positions in nvidia and Microsoft. Thanks
