Heard some chicks making noise, went to investigate, wasn't sure what they were. I started taking photos from about 20 feet away. This is exact the parent MOCKINGBIRD exploded out of nowhere and had me running for my life.
Its descent from the top of the sign out of my sight was so fast that the chicks didn't even have time to react

The once endangered Delmarva Fox Squirrel. Knowing good and well the little twig its behind is going to ruin the photo 😂😂😂
These guys are way bigger than eastern grays, with a silvery coat and a long fluffy tail. Definitely my favorite mammal.

A Painted Turtle with its personal Airforce (Easter Amberwing Dragonfly headed to snatch a fly off of its shell)
Although the fly isn't going to bother the turtle, it's still really cool to think dragonflies are out there keeping them clean (even if that's not the intention!).
