I was listening to Got Away for the first time recently, and I was like wow this is really good I love this, but then it got to the drop and aaarrgghhhhh i swear it sounds like cutlery scratching on plates and it makes my teeth hurt 😭😂. I've never liked dubstep or whatever genre this is I prefer the melodic bass stuff Illenium usually does. I've looked for remixes on YouTube but they all seem to have similar drops, and for the ones that don't, the rest of the song is too different that I don't like it as much anymore. Ideally it would just be exactly the same except for the drop, but idk if that's something that would exist. Does anyone know any remixes/versions that I might like better?

This guy started talking to me on Instagram and it was a pretty normal conversation until he asked to see my face, which made me a bit uncomfortable since we'd only had one conversation and in my experience guys messaging you asking to see what you look like usually turn out to be creeps lol. So I explained this to him and he was cool about it and apologised and that's when this conversation starts. And honestly I think this is the perfect example of how to handle it cuz like he didn't make any weird comments or be judgemental about it he was just like oh ok that's interesting and then moved on. So yea respect to this dude ✨

I learned a bit of French in school but now I haven't practised it in years. I made a friend recently who is from France. She doesn't speak much English and I don't speak much French. We've been mostly chatting in english until this time I attempted starting a conversation in French to see how that goes. I did use Google translate a few times for certain phrases but other than that I think I did alright. I know my grammar is probably terrible though 😂I just hope I got what I was trying to say across. Would anyone be willing to give me any feedback on this? And not just correcting my mistakes but like explaining them? Thanksss

Yesterday my friend took me to see the actual tunnel used for the Faded cover and part of the Alone music video. It's changed over the years but still instantly recognisable. He didn't tell me where we were going so I had spent the last few days trying to guess but somehow I never thought it would be this 😂. I was so excited lmao my reaction to seeing it was hilarious, I might post that later lol
