I learned a bit of French in school but now I haven't practised it in years. I made a friend recently who is from France. She doesn't speak much English and I don't speak much French. We've been mostly chatting in english until this time I attempted starting a conversation in French to see how that goes. I did use Google translate a few times for certain phrases but other than that I think I did alright. I know my grammar is probably terrible though πI just hope I got what I was trying to say across. Would anyone be willing to give me any feedback on this? And not just correcting my mistakes but like explaining them? Thanksss
Yesterday my friend took me to see the actual tunnel used for the Faded cover and part of the Alone music video. It's changed over the years but still instantly recognisable. He didn't tell me where we were going so I had spent the last few days trying to guess but somehow I never thought it would be this π. I was so excited lmao my reaction to seeing it was hilarious, I might post that later lol

I just saw a video of some girls skating to Golden from Kpop Demon Hunters. They were so amazing and it makes me sad that skating never worked out for me and I could never have gotten like that.
I started skating when I was 8 and it was great for about 4 or 5 years and then I must've reached my limit or something. I stopped improving no matter how much I practised. All the other girls who had started lessons at the same time as me were doing all these amazing spins and jumps and beautiful graceful dancing in their programs, and meanwhile I just looked like an awkward clumsy dying pigeon who couldn't even get a basic one foot spin right.
I kept going for years but could never master that spin. I tried different techniques, different coaches, advice from different people, but nothing changed anything. I even tried moving on to other skills but could never manage those either.
I stopped enjoying going skating and every time I went it was only frustrating and stressful rather than fun. I'd leave every session early feeling miserable and depressed.
I eventually ended up having to quit when I was 16 due to mental health stuff and after that it just never felt worth going back. It's been 3 years since then now and I don't even skate for fun anymore. It's just more stress than fun these days.
And now whenever I see figure skating videos it just makes me sad. It's like I miss what never happened.
Idk I guess I just wanted to vent about this
I reckon Julian would be a frequent poster on r/amitheasshole only to argue with everyone in the comments that he's not. As well as all the NSFW subs of course.
The Captain would be on a bunch of lgbt subreddits but would just lurk and never post or comment anything, and then would have to make up awkward excuses when one of the others asks what he's looking at.
Robin would entertain himself for hours just scrolling through r/astronomy or r/chess.
Kitty would make a ton of online friends instantly from so called "friendship subs" and be completely oblivious to any potential red flags.
Thomas would probably post something about how to make a relationship work between a ghost and a human on r/relationshipadvice. And he would write it all as a poem which would take 2 hours to read.

I bought an SD card for my phone only 2 weeks ago. It's a 256GB SanDisk micro SD card and my phone is Samsung Galaxy A17. It was working fine up until today I woke up to a notification saying the SD card isn't working properly and has been set to read only. I can't think of anything that would've triggered it, I don't think my phone did a system update or anything. I had a brief panic when I saw that my gallery folder had vanished from the sd card and I couldn't see any of my photos and videos but that miraculously appeared again after a few hours somehow. But now it still won't let me delete or move anything around in the SD card. I've copied as much as I can back to the internal storage and backed up my photos just to be safe but I don't really know what to do now. Is the SD card just dead now? Its only been 2 weeks? Do I just buy a new one?
