Are my varices bleeding?

My BP usually runs pretty high like in the 140’s. I had/ have a PVT now I have varices in my liver and stomach . I have been actively fighting Lyme disease and am on antibiotics. Well my blood work levels have shifted what was high is low what was low is high. I have been having light headed spells and swelling in my belly. I went to two different ERs (2nd was at PCPS request) they said everything was pretty normal. Including my BP ITS NEVER EVER NORMAL hasn’t been in years.
I’m worried that they may be slowly bleeding. The doctors say all my symptoms are probably a side effect of the antibiotics and the Lyme disease but that doesn’t explain the drop in BP. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I am fighting Lyme disease right now. Are these results anything to worry about?

So now it’s varices? What does that mean exactly?

I found out last September I have a PVT and have been on enoxaparin since. 2 shots every day. Anyway I just found out I have varices in my stomach and my liver. My GI didn’t explain much. She said to keep my appointment next Friday with my Hematologist NP (first visit ever) But she wants me to see a vascular specialist as well.
Has this happened to anyone else? What should I expect? My health has been declining so rapidly since last summer when I had a tick bite. Got another tick this year and tested positive again for lymes disease. She also wants my A1C checked as I didn’t have much to eat prior to the ER visit and my Glucose was 169.
I already had a bleeding stomach ulcer. Anyway I don’t know what questions to ask my hematologist or what to watch for or anything. Can anyone PLEASE help me understand this

Lyrica for the cranky panky.

Have any of you tried it? How did it work? How were the side effects? My GI wants me to be off the pain patch that I’m on and switch to lyrica. Before I say anything to my pain management doctor I would like some personal experiences. If you don’t mind. Thank you in advance

Are we allowed to post results?

In this group? I’m not sure and I have some questions about recent test results from a ct scan I had done in the er. Thank you in advance for your help

I have multiple chronic illnesses and would like to know should I be worried

I have fatty liver disease a portal vein thrombosis and chronic pancreatitis. I was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease and given doxycycline for an antibiotic. Wellllll I ended up going to ER with bad bloating and pain in my abdomen. They did bloodwork and an Xray and ct. The ER doctor said it’s from the antibiotic and changed me to amoxicillin. He said it should resolve quickly. It’s been over 24 hours and it’s getting worse. Would you go back? He also said that the clot seems to be getting worse. I don’t have a hematologist until later this month. Any advice would be appreciated

Bruise that’s large hard painful and warm to touch

I’m on enoxaparin injections twice daily and have been since September. This has never happened before. I was just at ER for abdominal bloat and discomfort. ( I have a PVT fatty liver and chronic pancreatitis) The doctor said it was from the antibiotic that they gave me inflaming my liver so the ER doctor switched them well later that night I did my injection and it left this. Should I be concerned?

Big bad bruises and lumps

Anyone else? This one is bad. They seem to be lingering longer and getting worse everytime. Has anyone else gone through this? Should I have it checked out or is it normal? This one is larger than a half dollar. It’s super tender as well.

Portal vein thrombosis questions and concerns

F 45 5’4” 103 lbs I have been diagnosed with the following PVT fatty liver disease chronic pancreatitis malnutrition and Lyme disease. I went to ER last night due to bloating and some stomach pain. The ER doctor said it was most likely due to the doxycycline they prescribed at my PCP for Lyme disease as it can cause liver inflammation. He said one I stop it should subside. It’s 24 hours later and it appears to be getting worse. What I’m truly concerned with is the PVT the ER doctor said it appears to him and the radiologist that it’s gotten larger since the last scan I had in February. I am on enoxaparin injections twice daily and have been sit the PVT was diagnosed in September. Is this something I should be worried about? I do have an appointment coming up the 29th of this month with hematology. Should I look for symptoms? Thank you in advance

PVT and inflamed liver with bloating and pain

F45 5’4” 103 pounds as stated I have a PVT was diagnosed last September. Have been taking enoxaparin injections twice daily since then. I have chronic pancreatitis (on creon) high BP on carvedidol and Amplodopin depression on sertetriline and amtryptaline I have fatty liver disease malnutrition migraines (immetrex) .
Well I was bitten by a tick last year tested positive for lymes got bit again this year and tested positive again. Anyway that brings me to my question I went to ER last night with major bloating high blood pressure nausea they didn’t keep tests liver enzymes were up so they switched me to amoxicillin. Said the bloating and pain should start get better well it’s not. It’s worse today. My main concern is the doctor said my PVT appeared bigger than the last scan that was completed in November or December. I see the hematologist for the first time the 29th of this month. Is it safe to wait that long or should I contact them tomorrow. I’m kind of scared. Any advice or experiences would be appreciated

Portal vein thrombosis

Female 45 have chronic pancreatitis fatty liver disease high blood pressure a habit of growing cysts on my organ Lyme disease and a portal vein thrombosis. I was diagnosed with PVT last September. Have yet to see hematologist. I have been on enoxaparin injections twice a day since then. My first appointment with hemo is the 29th. I have so many questions and don’t know where to start. I went to the ER last night for liver inflammation due to the antibiotics they put me on for lymes disease. They didn’t keep me just changed the medication. Anyway the radiologist said that the clot looked larger now than the last scan in November. Is that normal? Should I message for an earlier appointment I’m at a loss. Has anyone else had this happen? What were your experiences? What should I ask the doctor?
