Hey everyone!

I am currently working through my packing behavior to be more minimalist and also plastic free, everytime I travel I am really overwhelmed by buying a bunch of travel sized items of things I already own or refilling and cleaning little plastic tubes to transfer my toiletries. Eventually they just fly around in my drawer as I only travel occasionally, or they are all scratched up from cleaning so they need to be discarded.

What is your experience with complete plastic free toiletry packing? How do you manage this/what do you pack?

I can’t find much on this compulsion online, so I am asking here to find people who may have this as well.

After watching a horror movie or encountering some kind of creepy content, even if I thoroughly enjoyed it, I always feel intense anxiety and paranoia usually onset a few days or a week after.
As a child I had a compulsion of not allowing people to speak to me from behind as soon as it was dark bc I thought that’d summon monsters and it made me super scared.
A similar feeling creeps up on me as an adult with this compulsion. I get visual intrusive thoughts, fear of hallucinating, I need to have lights on in every room and can only sit and sleep with my back protected otherwise I get the urge to check behind me or my peripheral vision every few seconds.

I know it exceeds a regular response to horror movies due to the delayed onset and it holding up for a month basically. It only gets retriggered if I hear the movie’s name again.

Does anyone have had a similar experience?

Edit: Further info because this reads as if I am overpathologizing something normal. I am diagnosed with OCD and have had it since I was 3 years old.

Ich stelle meine Ernährung gerade auf vegan um und mein absoluter Lieblingsbrotbelag ist Schwarzwälder Schinken. Leider habe ich bisher keine vegane Alternative gefunden die dem gleich kommt (und auch schmeckt), aber muss auch zugeben mich noch nicht so gut auszukennen.

Hat hier jemand ein Rezept oder eine Produktempfehlung?
