Has anyone ever dropped out after IMT2, only to then return to do IMT3 (either in training or by CESR pathway)?

I am gunning for dermatology, have just finished IMT2 and am being offered a LAS derm job for the next year. If I accept it, I’d have to drop out of IMT but I’m scared because for various reasons, I probably can’t apply for higher training in dermatology for another year or two and in that time, I don’t know what I would do if dermatology was switched to a group 1 specialty. Planning for the worst-case scenario, has anyone ever been in this situation of having to make up IMT3 after dropping out early?

When does the itching stop?

I was devoured by bed bugs at a hotel last week and I’m still waking every night scratching myself. I have easily over 200 bites, but thankfully no new ones developing. When does the itching start to subside??

Just turned 40, TTC for 6 months, tests are all normal - when should we try IVF?

We’ve committed the classic error of putting ttc off for the sake of our careers and now have been trying for 6 months. We had a previous accidental pregnancy over two years ago but did not continue with it. Now, the pressure is on due to him needing to move abroad next year (non-negotiable, another story…) and the fact that if I don’t get pregnant soon, it will greatly affect my ability to move with him (I also want to make this move but it’s just tricky with mat leave and my career). My question is, should we opt for IVF? Fertility MOT was reassuring, lots of eggs, all tests indicate no issues. In my head, I know that IVF is tough but if it increases our chances, should we just go for it? We were advised against IUS due to no issues on the MOT.

In short: we have made things difficult and high-pressure for ourselves, should we just go for IVF?

Are these flecks normal on my birds nest fern?

Please help! Just noticed these bits on the inner/younger leaves of my fern. He is otherwise looking healthy. Is this normal?

Hello! Any recommendations for a good place to rent a cottage near/on nice beaches that is still within easy (cycling/walking) access to a pleasant city or town? We are ideally travelling there via train and would rent bikes to get around. Aim of the trip is to relax and enjoy the coast, while also having access to a bit of life/restaurants/cafes. Thanks
