Looking for someone to help out my neighbor to transport his dog to daycare 2-3 times a week.

Hi friends. I just moved away this past week. I used to help out my former neighbor at my old apartments with his dog. He’s stationed at Bliss and is working long hours at this time. I used to help him out and take his dog to daycare, about 15 min away from the apartment, to daycare for him and he’d throw me a few dollars each week.

He lives on the westside of town near Cimarron. I can narrow down location if someone is interested

Should mention his dog is a female husky. Seems imposing but actually a very fluffy goof.

Is Loomis a good company?

I have an interview with Loomis for a position as a cash management services teller. I can’t find much on it except that it’s mostly just counting and tracking cash and assets?

Does anyone have input? Could this get me in the door to AML or Fraud?

I had to leave my family dinner because my brother in law wouldn’t shut the fuck up

I’ve never liked this guy. I’ve never liked anyone my sister has been with. They’re know it alls and want to dominate every conversation.

I forget what the comment was but I said something about how Hegseth is a useless fuck who is kill force readiness. He disagreed.

He said the testosterone testing and injections are a good thing because they make more effective fighters. He said the force needs big strong killing machines because that’s what china has (no they don’t) and we have to counter that.

I said testosterone doesn’t make you an athlete, it just makes you big and lift heavier but that goes away over time and you have to keep upping the dose which gets dangerous. Not only that but it’s natural for men to lose testosterone as they age it’s for a reason. Raising it artificially will actually cause health problems later. He kept going on about China. I fucking gave up.

What really fucking gets me is this- this mother fucking cosplay infantry, news anchor is pushing women and anyone he considers “weak” out of the force. As a female NCO who did 10 years, I spent my entire fucking career having to prove that I deserved to be there. To say that the men need performance enhancing drugs but the women just… need to go. Is a fucking insult.

He was never in the military. He’s a border patrol agent

That’s my rant. Thank you

Looking for a bed cover

Morning all!

I’ll be driving with my dogs soon while I move out of state and I need to secure some things in my bed. I’m looking for a cover that locks and can’t be cut open but doesn’t break the bank.

Any suggestions?

Meet Popeye. My second foster but my first time fail

I found Popeye through a rescue org I follow on insta. I’ve fostered an itty bitty puppy before that was about 2 weeks old (mother couldn’t produce milk and she had to be bottle fed) until she was about 7 weeks. God she was cute old but puppies are SOOOOO much work.

I saw Popeye last week. He gives Tank energy (Tank was my very first dog. He’s the last pic.)

So I decided to give it a shot and I love him too much. He’s too snuggly. Too needy. Too “I need to crawl under your skin”. He’s perfect.

He also gets along great with Ace who is my other dog. They are both about 7ish so it’s a lot of napping and snacking.

I had to resign today

Im just feeling down dude. I got a job at a gym and at first it seemed like a really good job. Help customers sign up, give tours, clean shit occasionally.

But I kept getting pulled in for “talking too fast” or “not taking my time helping”. I really did try to work on it but shit, it was getting petty as hell for the reasons I was getting pulled in. This last one was I was “too short with a manager who was trying to show me something”. Idek what that means.

There was never a complaint about my quality of work. There was never a complaint from the customers about me. It was always from managers. And I know I shouldn’t say this but they were women and I am also a woman. Idk what it is about women managers leaders but I’ve always had issues with them. That’s probably not ok to say but it’s sadly been my experience.

I’m sorry- this post doesn’t really have a point other to say that…. Idk where I belong anymore. Even when I try- I fail. I just want a job where I can do my work to standard and the rest take care of itself. Idk if that exists on the outside.

I don’t think this is working out

I’ve been searching for a year for a job. Anywhere. Anyplace. Any pay. Any role. I get turned down on every application. I know it’s not personal but it’s starting to feel like it.

Everyone that looks at my resume says it’s impressive so idk what the issue is. I know I sound whiny and sorry for myself but I worked hard for my experience and education and yet… here I am.

Idk. Maybe it’s time to go live in a trailer in the woods somewhere and just move on.

Thanks it. Thanks for listening.

long term RV living

Forgive me if this had been asked too many time but I currently live in Texas (and I hate it). I was stationed in Washington back in 2016 and I loved it. I’m trying to go back.

That being said, I love the idea of just having an RV and being able to go wherever, whenever I feel the need.

I’ve been seeing they’ve been cracking down on van/rv living in western Washington lately, and for good reason honestly. It was pretty bad when I was there.

But is there a way for me to rent some land from someone and not have to move every 3 weeksish?

Any links to resources or contacts would be helpful.

Thanks

Brother is shipping end of August. I want to give him a gift but idk what

Hi everyone!

My little brother is shipping off in August for BMT and then heading to the SERE instructor pipeline. I was in the army so I’m very excited for him.

That being said- I went through basic training in 2009 which was a lifetime ago and I know some rules have changed for the army and probably for the Air Force.

Is there anything I can get him to help his time be just a tad more comfortable? I know they are limited on what they can take but can anyone give me some ideas?

Thank you!

Does anyone ever feel like the world moved on without them?

I’m not quite sure how to phrase this. I’ve been out since 2018 and I feel like did everything I was supposed to. I got my undergrad. I even got an MBA. But still no “adult” job. I work at a gym. I keep up with my meds and my mental health appointments.

But it feels like everyone around me, including my family, just… can’t relate to me. And I get it, people grow up and get jobs and have kids and houses and become families. I don’t have any of that. I haven’t had an actual relationship in about 7 years and not for lack of trying. Maybe I just come off as desperate?

I guess I’m just trying to figure out if I’m alone. It feels lonely. Every time I hit up my family to do something, they’re busy. It feels like I got left behind when I joined the army
